Affirmation of the Day
Therapist said I should share some of the habits and routines I've built through my mental health journey. While in my second IOP program I started a Manifest journal. For manifestations, setting intentions and affirmations. I did it on and off for about two years. I struggle to process my progress with my mental health. Journaling has been a way to help me maintain perspective on my growth. A few days ago I decided to try and write out each individual affirmation I've written. A lot of them are repeated but not counting the repeated ones, I had about 5 pages of affirmations. And that was only over a couple of months of my affirmation lists. As I go up and down on my mental health journey looking back on my journals has reminded me of what I am capable of and allows me to continue fighting both passively and actively. I am going to try and share an affirmation a day. Hope someone can find something through sharing the words that have helped me.
