If you're a creator and you needed to hear this today:
You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.
People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.
My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.

Light
They say when you lose the one true love of your life, your whole world ceases to exist. Or that you'll move on eventually.
Right now that was the last thing that was happening. You were still taking in the fact that Peter was dead. Your dad, Tony, had told when he got back from the Thanos' planet. Of course you hadn't believed him because couldn't be dead. He's spiderman. Then you walked out of your apartment to find people turning to dust. Confused, you ran back in to see your dad with a sad and concerned look on his face.
"What's going on? Dad? What's wrong?" You questioned. He just shook his head. You were getting dizzy. You legs crumbled underneath you as you breaths seemed to become scarce. Soon you were a full blown panic attack with you father hovering over you.
Then it was dark. Of course it was, Peter was your light. Now he was gone.
A year later, you come to. There are machines whirling around you, voices murmuring. Familiar ones. You try to open your eyes. No success. Try twitching your fingers. Success. You've gathered your in a hospital.
There's wetness on your hand, warm. Tears. Someones crying for you. A familiar voice sounds through your conscious mind.
"Y/N, listen to me. I'm back. I need you. Wake up. Please." Sobs ensue as your brain tries to process who it is.
Peter.
This happens for a few days. You try and try but fail. Peter comes in, along with your dad, giving you more strength to wake up. That's all you need is their voices.
You stir from your feet this time. A few hours later, your hips can move. Next is your eyes, though not even a second, you open them. You wait for a few seconds. Try again. One second their open. Wait some more. Try again. Open longer. You repeat this process until you can keep your eyes fully open for as long as you like.
Sooner or later, Peter comes in. He sees you awake, stops in his tracks, ghost white face and stares. You smile. He's back.
Now you understand why the world was so bright when you woke up. Peter Parker was back.

Let Me Help
Normally you were fine, your sickness only acted up every once in a while, and thank God, while Bob wasn’t around. You had a disease called POTS, the cause of your dizziness and puking almost all day long.
Until today.
Everything had been going great. But an hour ago, you started to feel nauseas. You were hoping that you ate something bad and it wasn’t your curse. But nope. So now while your boyfriend was at the store, you were going to die from heaving up what your stomach had to offer.
Hearing the front door of your two bedroom apartment slam close, you kicked your foot out to close the bathroom door, though you knew it was a waste ,Morley would kick the door down if he had to.
“Honey, I’m home.” Silence. Bob furrowed his brows. “Babe? Where you at?”
Hearing commotion coming from the bathroom now, he headed that way. The sound of throwing up invaded his hearing. His hand reached down to open the door but found it locked. He started to bang on the door.
“Y/N, open up! What’s wrong?”
When all he got was the same noise, he reached in pocket for a credit card, intending to open the door. But before he could, it opened. There you stood with tears running down your face, pale as a ghost, and shaking. He quickly pulled you into his arms. Bringing you over the couch, he sat you down, crouching in front of you.
“What’s wrong? Are you sick? Do I need to take you to the hospital?” He questioned.
You shook your head. “No, Bob, I have POTS. I didn’t tell you before because I thought you would see me as helpless or gross or whatever. I’m sorry.” You quickly explained.
His face turned to one of concern and he lowered his head to rest on your thighs. “Babe, I’m sorry if I made you feel that way. I didn’t know. But I don’t think your useless or gross or whatever. I just want to make to help.” He assured you. Smiling at you, he asks,“ So what can I do?”
“Umm, I have medicine in my room. Underneath the nightstand. Please and thank you.” You told him. He nodded. “On it, babydoll.”
Two hours later, you were feeling fine enough to sleep the majority of the bad part away. While you were sleeping, Bob was researching how to help people with the nasty symptoms.
Darling: Three
Once I got Sam settled in my room, I gently asked her what was wrong. Her eyes kept flitting towards my window, although I saw nothing outside. My brows furrowed.
"I'm being followed. I thought it was just a coincidence but then he turned up outside Starbucks this morning and then when I left school. Ser, I'm scared. You're dad's a lawyer, can't he do something?"
My eyebrows raised. I took a deep breath. If she was being followed, it was for a reason. That's the first thing we need to find out. Maybe her parents were caught up with bad people, which is likely. Her father is the sheriff and her mom is the local prosecuting attorney, just like my dad.
"Okay, calm down, for one. And two I need you to write down everything you can recall, psychically about the man. Can you do that for me, Sam? You can sleep with me tonight and we'll tell my dad about it in the morning." I reassured her. She nodded, going to my desk for pen and paper.
I walked over to my closet to pull some pajamas from the built-in-the-wall drawers.
"Hey, here's a pair of PJ's you can sleep in. You know where the bathroom is. "
Looking over to her, I find that she's shaking like crazy. I felt a strong surge of concern and protectiveness for my basically sister. I wrapped my arms around her and bring her into my embrace, which wasn't hard for my 5'7 frame to her 5'2 one. Running my hands up and down her back in a soothing manner, that I've done for years when she was stressed, I lead her to the edge of my bed. I hand her the clothes and grab mine to change with her. I know she won't want to be alone.
After we get changed, I pop in a movie. She walks down to the kitchen with me and we grab coffee and Sour Patch Kids.
Halfway through the movie, she falls asleep propped against me. I carefully move her into a more comfortable position, mindful of her carpeltunel.
Sighing, I lay down next to her and switch the television off. I think about Sam and what to do in her situation. I know she won't go to the police, not wanting to cause a fuss. But my blonde friend is too stubborn for her own good sometimes. I grab the paper she wrote off my nightstand and read it.

My brain clicks at the last one. I've seen a tattoo like that. Recently, too. As I try to remember, I look over to Sam, wondering if she'll be okay.

The next morning, I wake up to see no Sam and I shoot up, grabbing my over sized t-shirt that I slipped off during the night. I hear voices downstairs as I run out of my room.
"Sam? Dad? Ellie?" I yell.
"Yes, honey? What is it?" I hear the cook, Maria, call back. I sigh in relief. Now walking down the stairs, I see Sam sitting at our breakfast bar joking around with my sister.
"Where's dad?" I ask. My eyes flick over to Sam, silently asking if she's good. When she smiles, I take it as a yes. Winking at Ellie, I grab a coffee cup and fill it with the source of life known as coffee.
"Oh, honey, he had to leave for work. He said to tell you he'll be home around dinner." I nod and plop on the booth next to Sam. Nudging her, I flick at blueberry at her. Grabbing one herself from the bowl on the counter, she throws it at me. I flinch back, only for it to land in my coffee. I stare down at it and stare back up at her.
"You better run, Blondie." She rockets out of her chair and runs toward the bathroom. I grin like a wolf and follow, though at a slower pace. She never was the best at hide and go seek.

"Ellie! Sam! I'm going shopping. Wanna come?" Showered and dressed after the blueberry incident, I have nothing to do but this. My editorial on juvenile court is done, I have no case studies to do for Law Studies, so I'm good.
"Serie, can you stay home and watch Riverdale with me? Pretty please?" Ellie, who is the number one champ at puppy dog eyes (besides Sam Winchester obviously), asks. Sam smirks and looks at me with a you should've known this was gonna happen look. I sigh. Oh well, I have enough clothes anyways.
So I go upstairs to change and put on my glasses. I don't feel like wearing contacts. I throw on a Dr. Who baggy t-shirt and my Harry Potter fluffy pajama pants. Throwing my hair into a bun, I walk downstairs just as the doorbell rings.
"Ellie! Don't touch it! Nor you Sam!" I run to the door before they could get it. It could be a serial killer for all they know. I open the door only to come face to face to Everett. The new kid.
"How did you find my house, stalker?"
He smirks and looks down at his shoes, then back at me. "Nice glasses, cutie."
I blush and raise my eyebrow. "Answer my question, serial killer."
"Small town. Turns out you're quite popular." He answers. I open my mouth to answer but Sam does before I do.
"Serena, whose at the door?" She screams from the living room. I roll my eyes and tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
"It's the new kid." She comes barreling down hallway.
"How the fudge did you find her address, creep?" She questions him. I smirk. Really? Does she really think she sounds threatening saying fudge?
"Everybody knows my address, Sam. Remember my dad and mom were like the most popular in the town once?"
I'm not kidding. They held all the barbecues, pool parties, funded all the dance, everything. That was until my mom died anyways. The only thing I know about her death is that she was shot by a "burglar" and it was right after Ellie was born. Everybody says burglar but I have suspicions becaus her death is never the topic of conversation. Dad always gets a look of anger when anything gang related is mentioned and a major gang-leader was caught not even days after her murder, 3 hours afterwards.
"Can I come in?" Everett nods his head towards inside my house. I consider his question in my mind. He didn't seem that bad Friday in the courtyard and I kinda wanna learn more about him, preferably what happened. So I let him in. Little did I know he was doing the same thing, just in a less innocent way.

This is the cover photo for Darling. 😀

Fingers snapping in my ear bring me out of my trance that I was currently locked in. My head snapped up to meet Sam and Edan's stare. I raised my eyebrow. "What?"
Sam sighed. "I asked about your report on the game last Friday. Did it make the cut?"
I groaned. "Please don't talk to me about journalism using drama language, it irks me and yes, my paper made it on the Preston Daily."
I looked over to Edan. "How's your baseball team going anyways, Captain Rain?"
I smirked. He rolled his eyes. "We're fine. We going to Championships next month. Coach Bull wants us to practice more though. He's asking us to stay two more hours later than usual. Which is fine as long as we win."
Sam nodded." Just don't over work yourself. Wouldn't want to miss it just because you overworked yourself."
As they started to talk about Sam's next play, I drifted off into space staring at some random decoration on the wall.

Stepping out of Edan's Nissan Altima, I bent down to grab my bag from the passenger floorboard. I looked back at him and Sam. "Hey I've got to go to Mrs. New to discuss the arrangement of the newspaper, she still wants to do some old-timey crap. I'll catch you in second."
Waving, I started weaving through the slew of people that was Preston High School, home of the hurricanes. As I near the door to the newspaper office, I notice that there's someone else in there. I open the door and knock on the inside."Am I interrupting something?"
Looking at the boy who seemed about to raise his voice in anger at Mrs. New, brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, lean, dancer like.
"No." They both said simultaneously.
I raised my eyebrows.
"Okaaay." I pointed at the computer behind them. "I just need to finish something for the design." They both moved far away enough from each other for me to get to the computer. As I passed the boy, I felt a shiver run down my spine. Weird. What is a boy like him interested in newspaper for?
As I'm working on the layout of the newspaper, I feel a pair of eyes on me. Not wanting to face awkwardness, I stayed staring at my screen.

Sitting on the railing in the courtyard, I was typing up my editorial piece on whether the school lunch should change from healthy to what kids wanted, junk food. Well I should say was because, as of current, I was engaged in an argument with the boy from the newspaper, who I learned was Everett, about whether art classes should be cut from the school so other classes could come in.
My stance was no, they shouldn't. His was yes.
"Why? Because not only do we have art students here, some I'm friends with by the way, but it widens our resources and help build our school credit among other schools."
He raises his eyebrows. "But if we cut them, that opens up for more classes. Like Law Studies."
"But what about the students who take art classes? What are they going to do? And if you want to take law studies and we don't have it, you can always submit a class request form. Lord knows this school can afford it, do you know who owns it? Principal Richards is like a billionaire."
Everest raised his eyebrows and whistled. "How? There's already like a thousand classes here."
I smiled. "He's like the highest level of doctor you can get. He's stationed at the big hospital in California. But yea, there's no need to cut art classes. Just send in a form and with the right reason and amount of people, the class will definitely be added to the curriculum."
Nodding his head, he bit his lip. His gaze was resting on a car in the parking lot across from the courtyard. When a man in a black trench coat stepped out, his whole body stiffened visibly. My brows furrowed.
"Who is that?" I questioned his behavior. Everett shook his head.
"Don't worry about it. Look, I gotta go. Catch you later, doll." And with that he took off, leaving me with a wave bye. I frowned and shrugged. Not my business.

The best thing ever is walking into my kitchen to the smell of French Vanilla coffee brewing, courtesy of my dad. And even better a platter of Dark Chocolate Walnut Cigars on the counter. Grabbing one, I walk over to my dad, Antony.
"Hey dad. Whatcha doing?"
He looks up from whatever he was working on, probably paperwork from a case. Being a lawyer, he rarely has down time but he spends as much time as he can with me and Ellie.
"Oh nothing, sweetheart, just some case for a friend about his kid. Gangs and murder kinda stuff." He answers. I give him a look of concern. I don't want him to get caught up in this case. Whoever committed murder could come after him. He sighs. "And before you tell me to be careful, 'cuz you know people are physopaths and you don't wanna have to plan a funeral or you'll murder me yourself if I become stupid enough to be publicly involved', I know, nobody knows I'm on this case besides Uncle Andy."
I smile and nod, I trust him. "Okay well, I'm going upstairs to study for AP Euro, kay?"
He nods and smiles back, going back to his work.

Somewhere around ten o'clock, I walk downstairs to refill my 'Drink Coffee Like A Gilmore' cup. My slippered feet shuffle as I wait for the machine to fill my cup. When the ding that lets me know that my coffee is done, I grab it and start the long trek that is the flight of stairs to my bedroom. I should really move downstairs because I'm lazy and detest anything to do with exercise. But I like food, so I'm stuck with exercising the rest of my life. Oh well.
Halfway up, someone rings the doorbell. Groaning, I walk back downstairs. I look through the peephole to find my best-soon-to-be-dead-friend. I open the door for her.
"Hey, Ser-"
"What the fudge are you doing at my house at ten o'clock at night, Sam?" I cut her off. She winces.
"Is it really that late?"
I nod and purse my lips, studying her appearance. Though she's usually tan, she looks pale and her pupils are wide. "Are you okay?"
Looking up, her bottom lip trembled. Ushering her inside, insisting she's quiet, I lead her to my room.
*And no, she does not smoke, Dark Chocolate Walnut Cigars are a food. Well more a dessert.
Darling: One
I was running. The night as dark as Snow White's hair and I couldn't see. My blue cardigan was doing nothing to protect me from the chill in the air. Drops of rain land in my braided hair as my black flats land on the wet soil underneath me. As many times as I've had this nightmare, I have never actually figured out what I was running from and every time I wake up it irks me to no end to know that something has the power to make me fear it. What I do know is whoever it is has deep chocolate brown eyes, the kind that will draw you in and not let you go until they've devoured every single thing that there is to know about you. And that they also scare me.
My feet catch on some stray roots on the forest ground. My black-blue nail polish hands brace my fall as I descend toward the earth. I sob and attempt to get back up but as I do I'm pinned to a pine tree. The bark scratches my skin through my cardigan and pastel floral dress. For this part of my dream, the only thing visible in my vision is a white button up dress with a black silk vest. Because, of course, I would be looking down, petrified with fear. Although the man's chest where my frost bitten hands are resting is firm and straining against the shirt, it is also blocking my attempted escape.
"Look at me, Seraphina."
Those four little words that scared me so much came from a deep voice above me. I whimpered and shook my head. The man growled in frustration, which made me snap my head up at the frightening sound but as soon as I did, I gasped and shot upright in my bed. My best friend since forever was currently readying hisself to jump on my bed. He paused from where he planning to run and jump. His forehead creased and his blue eyes deepened in concern.
" Are you alright?" He asked, raising his eyebrows, knowing I would say yes anyways.
I nodded my head. Actually, no I wasn't . My whole entire body was shaking and I was sweating like it was ninety degrees in my room. I'm pretty sure you could see fear in my hazel eyes, also. He gave me a look, which I returned, even in my fear stricken state. He shook his head.
"Come on get up, get dressed. I want to get to Starbucks early." He told me. I stuck my tongue out at him.
" Fine, bossy." Getting up out of my bed, I walked over to my giant closet and picked out a pair of dark wash skinny jeans and a brown knit sweater. I walked into my bathroom and set my clothes on the counter. Turning the shower on just a shade of scalding hot, I walk over to the counter and look at my reflection. My skin is paler than normal, didn't know you could get any paler than I was already. My pupils are huge from fear, and my hair is matted to my forehead from cold-sweat. All in all, I look gross. I sigh and strip my clothes to climb in the shower.
They just started a couple months ago, I don't even know anyone with that voice. And it's the same dream over and over again. It doesn't show me who it is nor where I'm at, just a deep voice, brown eyes, and really dark forest. I get really frustrated because I can't figure it out.
I climb out of the shower and wrap my burgundy towel around me. I brush my teeth and change into my jeans and sweater. Throwing my towel into the basket, I see Edan sitting on my Spider-Man bedsheets. Took me forever to find king sized. He looks up at me and raises his eyebrows.
"Done, finally?" He inquired.
"Shut up. Did you already place our order at Starbucks?" I ask him. He nodded and continued to stare at me, as I laced up my brown knee high boots. "What?"
He shakes his head. I sigh."I know that look, what is it?"
"It's just... Are you okay? You haven't been eating or drinking much of anything besides coffee, and I know you've been having nightmares, you're dad told you wake up screaming sometimes."
"I'm fine, Edan. I just watched a scary movie a couple months ago, that's stuck in my head."
He raised his eyebrow."Uh huh, you love scary movies. And you don't get scared."
I rolled my eyes. I stood up from my bed and grabbed my beige trench coat from the hook on my wall and put it on, along with my orange and brown plaid scarf. "Stop worrying, Edan. Plus you said you wanted to be early, let's go or we won't."
Not giving him time to answer, I walked out my black chalkboard covered door. I pulled my phone out and texted Sam to see if she was going to meet us at the famous cafe. Once I was finished, I place it in my coat pocket. Turning my head, I see my younger sister, Ellie, coming from her bedroom. She was dressed and ready for school, probably going to get breakfast from the cook, Merida, downstairs.
"Good morning, little moose." I told her. She waved, not being a talker in the mornings. I ruffled her head as she walked by, in return her scrunching her nose at me. I smirked and pulled my phone from its place, where it buzzed.
Sure, come pick me up,plz. -S
Okie dokie. -S. V.
I turned to Edan. "We're picking up, Sammich."
He nods, stiffly, still not happy about our conversation. I sighed heavily. I poked his cheek and pouted." Come on, don't be mad at me. It's almost Christmas. "
He gave me a stern look and shook his head. I poked his cheek again. And again. And again. His lips quirked up a bit. I gasped. "There it is! Don't smile. Come on you know you don't want to."
His face burst out in a full-on smile. I smirked and turned around to walk down the stairs. Walking done the stairs backwards is not fun, let me tell you.
"I hate you." He tells me.
"Nah, you love me." I say, smiling cheekily.
Reblog if you are 100% okay with a transgender person correcting you if you accidentally misgender them or use their dead name.
IF YOU NEED TO CALL 911 BUT ARE SCARED TO BECAUSE OF SOMEONE IN THE ROOM, dial and ask for a pepperoni pizza. They will ask if you know you’re calling 911. Say yes, and continue pretending you’re making an order. They’ll ask if there’s someone in the room.
You can ask how long it will take for the pizza to get to you, and they will tell you how far away a dispatcher is.
Here is an example video
Reblog to literally save a life
I’ve done this. I’m alive because of this.
My flat-mate’s date for the night was almost as drunk as her. She had passed out in her room and locked the door. He refused to leave because he wanted to have sex. He also demanded food because he was dealing with “whiskey dick”. He didn’t like the lack of food in the fridge. I called 911, did the stuff stated above, and he was getting PISSED about how long the “order” was taking. He took my phone, demanded they “hurry the fuck up”. Police arrived two minutes later, arrested him, and helped me file a police report. Pressing charges wasn’t necessary because he had warrants on him from THREE different states for the very thing he planned to do to me. Several months after this happened one of the officers informed me he was charged with two felonies because he crossed stay lines, and will be serving no less than 35 years in prison. The officer ripped into my flat-mate about her bringing home complete strangers, while drunk, knowing full well this shit could happen.
This was 14 years ago.
Do the pizza order, do it as calmly as you can. The dispatcher I spoke to said things like this:
“If he’s drunk say you want mushrooms.” I said I want extra mushrooms.
“If he’s threatening you with sexual assault say you want onions.” I said I want onions.
She went like this with different toppings and sauces for a description of him, like pineapple if he’s blonde, black olives if he’s tall, extra large if he’s tall, etc.
They’ve heard this sort of coded call before. They’re trained for it. They will understand what you’re saying. Order the pizza.
Really though. I’m in training for dispatch and this was one of the first things they taught us. Pretend you’re talking to a friend or relative, pretend you’re ordering pizza, we’ll figure it out. We’ll word questions so you can answer in an easy, casual way. Please, just make the call and we will do everything we can to help you.
Reblog to save a life
Listening to this video brought tears to my eyes, but what an incredible way to let 911 know you need help in a situation like this.
BOOST. If my kid sister had known this, she’d be alive today.
Fuck.
