I'm an impatient girl. When I open wines I rarely let them breathe. Yes. I know. (Classless boar!) So when I first opened this it wasn't my favorite. It just seemed a bit...rougher? But, next day, it was like...time had BREATHEd new life into it. Now I am digging it so much more, and will definitely get it again! Tasty, rich and warm. Thank you, sir, I'll have another! I am REALLY enjoying Portuguese wines and seriously wish I could find more in stores. The selection always seems to be very limited, when I know there are many I'd love to get my hands (and taste bus) on! Hopefully I'll start finding more and more. And, thusly, drinking more and more. 😉 -Sarah

This cabernet from Gérard Bertrand? Oh, it's spéciale alright. Smooth and delicious, not too dry and made with organic grapes! No headache, no stuffy nose, no hangover the next day either. Now this is a wine I can recommend! Now...let's go get more! -Sarah

Oooh boy. It’s been a while. Soz. But the silence MUST BE BROKEN. For nothing less than excellence. Turns out, excellence, thy name is Château La Rose de Palenne. Good on you!

Really, though. I think, somehow, this is the first Bordeaux I've ever had, and it makes me wonder why this is our first romantic tryst. Because let me tell you, I want you, I want you, oh baby, oh baby. (insert pretend cigarette here)

Its just want I want on a night promising the first snow of the season. Rich. Full. Exactly how I hope to leave this world. It’s the kind of wine that makes me wish I knew more about wine. I want to be better. For you, baby.

Also it’s organic. Since I assume “Agriculture Biologique” basically means organic. AND it was under $15!

I will be buying more. I encourage you to do the same.

Or just buy me a bottle. I mean, no pressure. Whatever floats your cork….

I was hoping this would be a good wine given that it was both vegetarian and vegan qualified, but unfortunately it was not. It was weird. -Kathi

About time isn't it? Have a shiraz, which I found to be quite good, very smooth. Definitely has a pepper "bouquet," if you will. Though maybe that's more noticeable if you've tasted several wines beforehand...

Stellar Organics. The name *literally* says it all. This Pinotage (for the record, I have no idea what that means) from South Africa IS stellar. It's smooth, berryful, and gives me neither a headache nor a hangover. Oh! And did I mention it's fair trade certified? Yeah. So you can FEEL good drinking it, too. And at $10.99 (where I bought it, anyway), it certainly won't break my bank. At least not yet... ALL OF THE WINS! - Sarah

I don't know what to say, other than I LOVE THIS WINE. Traveled to The Wine Bottega in Boston's North End where they sell ONLY natural wines. This puppy was probably about $15, and I can honestly tell you it was worth every penny. I want moar. I can haz moar?? Moar now? Now plz?? - Sarah

Kaina malbec 2009...bought this wine because I was intrigued by the lable and the organic-ness of this wine. We got back to the hotel to find we had no cork screw :-( so we just pushed the cork in! Highly anticipating a delicious wine for the end of the day I took a sip...it took everything in me to not immediately spit it out. This wine is absolutely terrible! DO NOT EVER BUY THIS WINE...it tastes like dirty sweaty feet (not that I know from experience but it tastes how I would imagine dirty sweaty feet to taste)...a sad waste of $13.00

Oh. Oh my. L'Oustalet, made from organic grapes. I don't know if it's a truly natural wine, but I'm also not sure I WANT to know. Absolutely delicious. It goes down so easy I fear a little for tomorrow. Sarah, meet bottle bottom. But hey - that'll tell me how natural it is, eh? Hangover - not so natural (not so nice). And yet...I think I'd still buy it again regardless. It's THAT good! Oh, and it was only $10.75!! What's not to love!!?? - Sarah

Second, was Brunn. Also good, but it fell a little sharper upon my buds. Taste buds, that is. Still pretty darn good, I’d definitely give it another go! But, uh, I’d still probably get the Tire Pé Diem first…

We polished off two bottles this night…first up was Tire Pé Diem. I do not speak French, but I imagine it translates to “Best of the Day.” It may be because it was first, but this wine was delicious! Flavorful, fresh - okay, it’s been a month between tasting and reviewing, but what I do know, is I can’t wait until I have it again.

Once upon a time, there was wine…

This was also phenomenal.  I don't usually go for Italian wines, but the Wine Bottega recomnended this and, per usual, they were right on.  This doesn't have that sharp kick some red wines tend to have; it goes down very smoothly.

THIS WAS AMAZING.  Light, yet flavorful, pretty much the perfect tempranillo-garnacha.  I almost cried when the wine store didn't have it (and yes, maybe I went back the next day...).

This is a natural wine under $15!  It was good, I remember enjoying it (though, full disclosure, I'm back posting right now.  I did not drink 5 bottles of wine in one night...).  I would buy it again, definitely, especially since I enjoy Spanish wines & this was a good one.
