For three seasons Iris has been portrayed as team Flash’s moral compass, and I still can’t comprehend the fact that she just let HR die taking her place. We already know it’s Barry that caused the chain of event that resulted in Iris’ death, not HR. And without HR slipping away Iris would still ended up dead (see the futureverse in 319). HR offered to sacrifice himself not because he wanted to make atonement, simply that he’s a good man willing to give up his life so that a friend could live. Iris opposed the idea at first and was knocked unconscious after that, but she still had time to save HR by exposing her true identity, and she didn’t. I’m not judging or blaming Iris, because self preservation is indeed a strong human instinct, and she did nothing wrong remaining silence to avoid death. It’s just... knowing that she just stood there, watching a friend getting killed taking her place, and did nothing to prevent it from happening. Yes I know HR sacrificed himself out of choice, but ultimately the choice lied in Iris’ hand whether she would let a friend die for her. And she did.

From now on it’s difficult not to see this character in a completely different light. At least for me.

Cisco: Oh. He was this guy we used to work with.  Such a dick. You actually reminded me a lot of him when you first came on board.

ME: WAIT NO DIDN’T HARTLEY TURNED OUT TO BE A SEMI-SWEETHEART DID BARRYING CREATING FLASHPOINT ALSO GOT WHAT HAPPENED IN 217 ERASED HELL NO

Come think about it this actually makes sense, like Dante definitely died way before 220 so there’s no chance Barry could go back a year ago to improve his speed while refusing to go back a few days/weeks/months to save Dante’s life. The team must have found some other way to boost Barry’s speed and HARTLEY’S VILLAIN STORY ARC REMAINED INTACT

Cisco must have vibed many times the scene where Iris’ killed by Savitar. He did it at least four times on stage, and it’s reasonable to assume that the team flash would ask him to vibe whenever they need  to check whether the future’s change by current events. 

Every time Cisco takes Barry/Wally into the vibe, he comforts them after their devastation upon watching Iris’ death. But  Iris is also Cisco’s good friend? Like they might not be as tight as Cait & Cisco but Cisco definitely cares a lot about Iris? I’m just sad that Cisco has to watch countless times how his good friend is slaughtered by an evil speedster the exact way he himself was slaughtered in the past. And nobody seems to realize how traumatic it must have been for him.

But that Cisco and Sara scene on the Waverider actually broke my heart

I mean they are on board the one and only device that can travel to the past and save their lost siblings and neither of them chose to do so.

They time travel to save the earth, no to fix their own life and bring back their loved ones, even when they have the means to.

So for everyone that dares to accuse Cisco of being hypocritical, childish, or unreasonable for staying mad at Barry, here’s what you should remember”

we have CISCO who: - begged Barry to save Dante right after Dantes death (probably a few days after the event - mad at Barry for refusing to do so, but stopped when being told the tragical consequences time travel could have brought - also immediately stopped asking Barry to save Dante, gradually starting to come to terms with the fact that he would never have Dante back - made amends with Barry, even bring him in as a roommate - being on the Waverider, travel back sixty years to save the earth, not to sneak back a few months to save his own brother - immediately taking responsibility for the mistake he made, even when it’s a group decision made in a situation where they have no other choice

and we have BARRY ALLEN who: - time travelled multiple times and honestly is the only one that REALLY knows how big changes he can make by altering just an insignificant thing in the past - being warned again and again by both eobard and Harry - being traumatized by Nora’s death for 16 years - refused Cisco’s request to save Dante many times and told him the dangers of time travel - immediately travelled back in time 16 years without getting consent from anyone after Henry’s death, after rejecting Cisco’s request countless times (yes that’s the previous Barry in this new timeline, cuz now think of it the only reason we are not seeing a TIME REMNANT is because the previous Barry also went back in time, what a textbook definition of hypocricy - try to keep flashpoint a secret until the differences and chaos ensued are simply too big - continue to keep flashpoint a secret to the teammates he recruited, despite that 1. old Barry’s message was addressed to everyone, not theirs to hide 2. they’re about to embark a extremely mission and this might be a life saving information in someway

But what infuriates me most is him knowing the price Cisco payed for his time travel but still told Harry “nothing essential changes”. That’s probably why Cisco and the others never asked what was different, they just assumed it’s nothing important. But how could Barry live in Cisco’s apartment, see his grieving self everyday and keep this secret from him, and said nothing essential changed, while still be able to look at him in the eyes? Oh rights, nothing essential for Barry changed, he had his happy ending, everyone else be damned.

I don’t hate Barry, I used to love and admire what he did for other people, what he’s given up for a heroic cause. I saw in him what Cisco saw, but now those traits are outshone by his SELFISHNESS and STUPIDITY and HYPOCRISY because of bad writing. And I don’t understand why would someone still believe Barry is the more mature, responsible hero of them two, when all the evidence simply proved otherwise.

My romemate: So apparently in the lastest episod of LOT Cisco went back in time and screwed the timeline, then he realized how stupid and ungrounded it was to stay angry at Barry, since they made the exact same mistake.

Me: WAIT WHAT HAPPENED DO YOU MEAN HE MADE THE SAME MISTAKE DID HE TOOK THE WAVERIDER AND SAVED DANTE AND IN DOING SO SCREWED EVERYONES LIFE CUZ IF THATS THE CASE IMMA JUMP ON BOARD AND BE MAD AT HIM

So in these few episodes

Harry:

-Knows Cisco’s go to place when he’s sad or distressed (Even Barry-who’s supposed to be Cisco’s best bro- doesn’t know about this)

-Knows about Cisco’s wand made for Harry Potter convention

-Knows Cisco has the ability to re-open breaches between earths, tap into the speedforce to find Barry, and bring other people into vibezone by physical contact

I’m not tagging Harry as a stalker, but during all that time they spend together Harry sure as hell notes all kinds detail about Cisco and logs every one of them in his massive batabank of a brain. For lack of anything better to do, maybe. But I’d like to think that Harry’s actually interested in Cisco and tries to solve this brilliant young man like a puzzle.

You know nothing Barry Allen

Barry: Is Cisco back yet? I haven’t seen him.

Harry: Check his workshop.

I don’t know which is more surprising, the fact that Harry knows Cisco’s hiding spot, where he would go and curl himself in when he’s sad or anxious. Or the fact Barry doesn’t.

Barry: I’m sorry miss underage, none of us plan on getting murdered by your father. 

Jesse: Nah, whatever, his all talk.

Jesse: *listens to Harry’s audio entry

Jesse: Holy sh*t I just nearly got my new friends killed.

It is a known fact that real world science doesn’t exactly apply to Sci-Fi world. And when it comes to Cisco’s vibing powers, the show doesn’t even bother to offer its audience a pseudoscience version of explanation. That leaves us with a lot of unanswered questions (in what way does this power work, where all the visions come from, why sometimes they need to be triggered by toughing a certain object and other times don’t, etc).

Luckily we are not completely ignorant to his power. We learnt from his previous vibing experiences that no matter what triggers the vibe, what kind of visions he’s experiencing, two patterns are to be expected:

1) the surroundings of Vibezone (for lack of better terms) can’t be affected by Cisco’s presence. When Cisco vibed the Bank robbery committed by Dr. Light he was placed in the middle of chaos, but course no one sensed his presence

2) Cisco can’t be affected by what happened in his Vibezone. In the lucid dream Wells shoved a vibrating hand through Cisco’s chest - which would cause Cisco’s instant death in the dream - but somehow Cisco continued to scream until disconnected from the vibezone.

So Cisco basically performs as a psychic: he sees visions, he wanders around in his vibezone to find clues. Every time he is in the center of a hologram. There’s no interaction between him and his surroundings.

Until THIS SCENE. This time in the vibezone Zoom speeds past him, brings a strong gust of wind sending his hair flying in every direction.

For the first time we see Cisco in his vibe affected by the surroundings in some way. And this happened after Cisco’s encounter with Reverb, his evil double who promised him his power would made him a god. Is Cisco’s power actually evolving? This time Zoom’s wind messes up Cisco’s hairstyle, what about the next time? Would Cisco get hurt in his vibezone? And what damage would that do to Cisco in the real life?

Hope I’m over interpreting but I’m legitimately scared.

No llega a especificar cuánto de pronto, pero recordemos que ya anunció que el trailer oficial llegaría para abril, por lo que es más que probable que el teaser llegue bastante…
