Hi, I'm Winston, a woman who is trying to figure out her place in the world.  All while trying to survive our crazy world, finding a social life, paying bills, and trying not to stay up all night online reading wlw fiction and/or watching Twitch streams.  This is where you will find random rants about life and (more commonly) various things I reblog from my fandoms.  They are numerous and most prominently/recently include: -First Kill; -the Horizon video game series; -The Last of Us (I've loved the series since the OG PS3 game, have loved it ever since, and I cry for the amazingness of the HBO series); -House of the Dragon (separate from GoT, and entirely because of Rhaenicent); -Crime Junkie and other true crime podcasts; -Supergirl; -Doctor Who; -Game of Thrones (though it was definitely problematic); -Misc DC Comics/Marvel stuff; -The X-Files (one of my first big fandoms back in the day); -Grey's Anatomy (though I think I’m a season or so behind); -The Hunger Games Trilogy; -the Final Fantasy series, including XIV occasionally; -Legend of Korra; -Misc sci-fi and animated stuff; -video games; and -Reading. Lots and lots of reading. -I majored in political science in undergrad, and justice/security in grad school, so you will find some politics/American government stuff on my blog sometimes. Especially now that we are in the dystopian era of the world. PS by the length of this info bar you may have noticed I'm a bit verbose. So yeah... head's up.

mira has this habit of saying "i'm just gonna close my eyes for a second."

this statement has never once meant "i'm just gonna close my eyes for a second." it means she has accidentally initiated a two-hour nap.

it doesn't matter where she is. couch, floor, car ride, rumi's shoulder. if she's comfortable for more than a minute, she's gone.

after enough years together, rumi and zoey have learned to stop asking if she's asleep. they'll hear complete silence, glance over, and immediately start debating whether they should put a blanket on her now or wait until she's fully committed to unconsciousness.
