Actually, I’ve been forgetting to post a lot recently! My mom cleaned out her basement and brought me a ton of my old artwork from high school and apparently those were dark days! So. Much. Angst!

So glad I’ve moved on to dandelions and stopped trying to make EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. look like it could be album art for The Used.

I lied. I can’t believe I forgot my favorite! This is my last post for a little while. My first successful water color painting. Will Scarlet and Anastasia. We see so few moments of innocence and joy between these two.

I imagine them sneaking away together, despite Lady Tremaine’s restrictions. Will patiently and tenderly reminds Ana of how beautiful and how worthy she is by naming each star in the sky after her. Over and over he whispers her name until she can no longer hear the demons screaming that she’ll never be enough. Her mother’s voice fades to silence and all she hears is Will. “Anastasia. Anastasia. Anastasia…”

Accidentally posted to my other blog! Woops!

This is my latest piece and my last upload for a little while, until I finish my next project. I hate leaving unfinished pieces of art laying around. This was a charcoal on newsprint rough sketch of a profile. I found it a few days ago and finally had time to complete it. I’m excited to learn more and to practice my technique. I’m always open to constructive criticisms and advice from more advanced artists! I’m also open to suggestions and requests as I’m always looking for practice! Thanks for supporting me and following me and I hope to bring lots of smiles!

Oh my gosh. I love this one. It’s weird and it’s nuts but it’s Haven. This is original fanart in chalk pastel. Inspired by Duke Crocker, a tragic character carrying a heavy burden. As far as technical ability, it’s a bit lacking. I wish I didn’t love it as much as I do, but more than that, I wish I had this framed.

I needed help and practice with chalk pastels. I borrowed the idea from another artist. The original, along with lots of other awesome art (if that’s your thing) can be found here.

Mine is not nearly as awesome, but I’m a rookie.
