Welp, that's frustrating...

Apparently the discord got removed, hopefully just temporarily. They posted about it on Twitter and Blue Sky, here's a link to the Blue Sky post.

From what they're saying we did such a good job at repopulating the new server that Discord assumed it was bots, which is a sort of silver lining. Hopefully they're not going to have to make a new server again, and the repeal to reinstate the new-old server will go through, but if it does fall through and they do have to make a new server at least it seems like we'll be able to put that same sort of energy into the new one, hopefully. Nothing actionable to say at the moment, but those who care please keep tabs on it.

The Old Server was an amazing resource for me getting into the fandom and the spell writing system, so it would mean a lot for people to join and get in touch with those who were part of the Old Server and don't know what's going on.

Also as a side hope, if anyone happens to have access to a backup of the Archived "Magic Discussion" Channel, I would love it if it were made accessible to the new server!!!

Tower that Reaches the Sky (Spell Power Rocket)

The above is a contraption designed after irl rockets. It was designed with the help and at the request of @salokinme , specifically for fanfic they're working on.

The Suspended Fire Column Spell Circle is power the rocket, and the Water Coolant Chamber Spell Circle is to maintain it. Notably, the SFCSC is facing up towards the closed end of the rocket so its stream of flame can bounce off redirect towards the opening. This is because after discussions with people on the WHA Discord I was informed that, for whatever reason, spells that generate and expel material away from it do not have equal force pushing in the opposite direction acting on the surface the spell is written on, or put another way, if you draw water column spell in a palm quire and face it out in front of you before completing the spell, no matter how much water pressure is behind the column, the spell will not push you back even an inch. To get around this I set up the spell to apply the force more indirectly by bouncing off the top. The WCCSC on the other hand simply functions by manifesting cooling inside of the water of the chamber it is etched in the walls of, and uses repetition to continually maintain its ambient temperature, intended to have effect of sapping heat from the rockets walls and dumping it into non-existence through repetition.

Hi! The weather has been hot where I live, so I thought about suggesting a spell that would work kinda like a hand fan that blows cold air, if that's okay?

Hand-Clasp of Cool Breeze

While this wooden clasp is open it will create a column of cool air tilted away from the henge.

It is kept from activating while closed due to the spring under the square cut out of the spell circle being compressed by a jut from the other board of the class.

Thanks for the suggestion, I enjoyed coming up with the activation mechanism.

Hand Fan of Wind Chill

After the initial post I realized you probably meant a paper hand fan rather than something that emulated the abilities of a mini motor fan, so here is a hand fan that functions by super cooling the air directly next to it and otherwise works like a normal hand fan.

Eggtimer of Spell Delay

Just draw an incomplete spell on the upper half of the inside of the timer, reinsert the wooden dowel into the lower half, adjust for time needed, and you're done!!!

Helps prepare for pottery by allowing you to toss on bits of clay dirt and pour on water to get a proper mixture.

Updated Spells of Clay Mixing

Apparently the use of repetition would prevent the clay from properly mixing and convergence work the way I thought it did.

On the left is a more manual version which still rotates around the center but gets the mixing done with a simple use of crush.

On the right is a version that apparently simply manifests water throughout the clay dirt, as far as I've come to understand.

I do prefer the left version because I find charm in it functioning manually, but the right is probably more effective.
