Misty's Water Protection Spell

Purpose: To place the user and those of the user's choice under the protection of one of the most durable, fierce elements.

Items Needed:

A medium-sized bowl (preferably shallow and wooden)

Fresh Rain Water (Or Storm Water)

A crystal

Something that reminds you of each person you wish to protect besides yourself.

Steps:

Pour the Rain/Storm Water into the bowl

Place the crystal in the middle of the bowl, completely submerged in water.

Place your finger tips into the bowl of water. Focus your mind on those you want to protect and what you want to protect them from.

Imagine a soft, light blue glow around each person, building up from them to create a small barrier around their bodies.

Repeat these words;                     

"Mighty rivers and crashing waves,

I work to follow the path she/he paves.

Power of Healing and Power of Change,

Provide me with this protective range.

Protect me from distress and the pain to come,

Encircle me with Light, the Power of the Sun.

Wash away the ones that wish to harm,

Bless this humble protection charm."

Remove the crystal and use it to drip a drop or two of the water onto each item before placing the crystal somewhere that it will always be on your person (a necklace, in a vial then on a necklace, in a small pouch in your pocket, etc.)

Store the water in a container somewhere safe.

When you want to lift the spell simply get rid of the water (use it to water plants, pour it down the drain, etc.) and then cleanse and charge the crystal.
