âThe axe forgets, but the tree remembersâ is typically a very true statement. Unless, of course, you have moral ocd, in which case the axe has been haunted for weeks and the tree does not remember or care. In fact, many sources report that the axe, which is actually a plastic butter knife, has never been anywhere near a forest. And also there is no tree.
This isn't dissonance by the way, it's perfectly logical to the fascist view. The state must always be ready to obliterate those it sees as enemies, but the people are responsible for their own well being. This is because the "State" is of course run by the ruling class, who in the heirarchical worldview are inherently superior and must be protected. The "people" are just the incidental by product of finding out who is (and by extension isn't) part of the in group. The logical conclusion of this is an industrial system where people, in order to save themselves, and facilitate their own well being, "join up." I'm going to say this out loud because it seems that not a lot of people have heard it, the armed forces of a society should not be a job. The defense of a people should only arise in the event that it is needed, and only by the people themselves. The very idea of a standing formal military is authoritarian.

masculine looking cishet guy wearing an âask me about my pronounsâ shirt. when you ask about his pronouns he really excitedly explains to you that theyâre he/him.
This is what we want when we say cis people should explore their gender too. Get excited about it! Euphoria is awesome! Find what you love about being you and embrace it wholeheartedly!

You know, I'm not religious myself, I'm agnostic. However, I've been noticing how much stuff is just mass produced and it... you know, it makes me sad
My grandma gave a magnet with Mary on it, and that's fine, might as well put it up I figure. Pop over the back, and of course it's made in China. Something's just kind of wrong to me about that, a religious symbol being made in a sweatshop
So here's my point. You probably know I do wood carving. You have something you want made, drop me a message, we'll work something out. Don't really care what religion you want it for, find it unlikely I'd be asked to do something I wouldn't want to by one of you
Here's what I'll say, I don't share your beliefs (because I don't see anyone wanting agnostic symbols, not sure what that would even be). However, I can say I'd make it with care and good intent
I don't know, it just bothers me and I can literally do a better job. So yeah, for your consideration. Also, here's an example piece I made for a friend (waiting to stain it till I get some woodburning stuff to write a prayer on the back)
The people who believe that people with any preexisting conditions, high risk, or elderly should stay locked up for years during the pandemic so they can go around their daily lives without so much as a minor inconvenience of a mask or disruption in their get-togethers or parties because they are âhealthyâ are the same people who would have locked up disabled, autistic, elderly children and family members pre-1980 because these people were an âinconvenienceâ to their lives.
They are the same people who believe this group of people, mental ill, disabled, neurological diverse, elderly, are just inconvienent, burdensome, and disposable. They measure our lives by inability to have machine-like qualities, to output goods and services. They measure our lives by the time and cost of our care, that some how the financial cost of medications and treatment exceed our own human value. We were forcibly sterilized and not allowed to so much as have the staple of humanity, love, relationships and families, we were groomed to appreciate the most basic and low quality care, to grovel those who are willing to love us because we are âdifficultâ and to work thousands of times harder to âovercomeâ our illnesses, our disabilities, to get a shred of affection, appreciation, value, and to be used for âinspirationâ for those with abled bodies and minds.
Now, as it always has been, we are the burden of society, our deaths are excused away as lives worth only a 1/4 of a healthy persons life. Itâs only a loss to society when an athlete looses his life to corona, itâs only a loss to society when a person with no underlying illnesses, or with no pre-existing condition of âageâ, itâs only a loss to society when they leave behind family they were allowed to have. Itâs only these losses that are mourned. Those in nursing homes, with pre-existing conditions, those who are over weight are said to âgonna die anywayâ.
I want everyone to know, that I see you. I see those who look at these lives and scoff, âso we are inconveniencing our lives with a mask because someone who will die anyway is dying from a virus?â I see those who believe they have more right to vacation, work, shop, party, have gatherings then the âlesser and weaker beingsâ. I see you donating to the athlete who has the virus, whoâs gofundme has reached 100,000, while your disabled neighbor begs, as they always have had to, for their life. And in the same breath you say, that people should have the right to choose where their taxes go, rather than it go to some unknown disabled or poverty stricken human being. Because so clearly, you have chosen correctly, right? I see you also talk about freedoms of your country, your rights to shop, your rights to not wear a mask, your right to happiness, even if it means smothering the life out of anyone that stands in your way. I hear you speak of the past in horror, seeing documentaries of disabled or mental ill locked away in facilities so their families can live unaffected lives. I see you. I see you in my family and friends.
I also see you in my religious brothers and sisters. Who demand their services be open, but only for those most healthy. The elderly who sit week by week in their houses alone, and live for the voices of others every Sunday, must shut away. Those with pre-existing conditions or illnesses, who depend on their graces of the sacraments of their faith to get them through treatments, through the medications, the financial losses, the abandonment of friends and family, are told to stay home. Stay away. The healthy people are practicing their faith. The healthy people are living their lives, where as, you cannot. Those who need their faith most of all, cannot practice.
They say âitâs for your own safetyâ. Just as being heavily medicated against our wills, being forced to communicate when your non-verbal, forced to have implants when youâre deaf, forced to endure abusive therapies for your neurologically diverse brain, forced to âovercome your physical disabilityâ when youâre presented stairs instead a ramp, are some how for âyour own goodâ, they say.
We wonât forget that people with chronic autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus were told to go without their medications, Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine, when it was being used for corona virus. They were only given days if their medication instead of month refills, and told âthank you for your sacrificeâ. A sacrifice that was demanded, expected, while able bodies screamed about their rights and âforcedâ to wear masks, screamed about the inconveniences to shop with the âforcedâ consideration of the lowly minimum wage employees health, who should have âchosen a better career if they didnât want to be at riskâ, from the negligence and selfishness of others.
Even if the pandemic some how kills us all, we will always exist, we will always fight for the basic rights to live, and to be human. Our value will never be measurable, especially by those with the least human qualities; those who will smother the vulnerable and the needy to be unbothered and unburdened.
Since Iâve been locked inside my house (had quit my management job because of customer refusal to use safety measures to protect me, and because my work place did the same as well) for months to protect myself, my family, and the lives of others, I hope I do not contract this virus. If I do die from corona virus, or when I die my natural death, those who saw my life or the lives of disabled, mentally ill, elderly, weak vulnerable as of lesser than âhealthyâ and abled lives, or saw them as lives that were not âworthyâ of protection, and safekeeping:
You do not have permission to mourn me, you do not have permission to post how sad you are on your social media to use me for affections and pity from those around you, if you did not value my life or the lives of others âlikeâ me. You do not have permission to attend my funereal and weep tears on my grave, because the only liquid that I want to touch my grave is the liquid that you spat on my life and the lives of others; do not visit me in my death unless you plan to spit on my grave, as you spit on the lives of others and on my life, and as you hacked and coughed on min wage workers, cashiers, food service workers, retail workers, laborers that also you demanded serve you. These will be my dying words, to treat my grave for eternity as you have treated those whom you discard. So you will never forget. So others will never forgetâ
âthat our lives are divine gifts, who are deserving of protection, and who have immeasurable value, even when we die alone, and even though we are discarded, ignored, unloved, used, abused, and smothered generation after generation by people who claim to be champions of freedom, of morals, and of love.
