certainly not a new sentiment but i am becoming increasingly sour on the entire concept of 'consuming content'. you're not reading a book or watching a show or listening to music or looking at art, you're consuming content. it's such a weird, bland, homogenizing way of talking about art, and i get that it exists as a shorthand, but i'm not at all convinced it's a good or useful one

Martin Septim was a shitty priest, I just know it in my heart. He wasn't prepared to give an on-the-spot public speech to the Blades when he got to Cloud Ruler Temple. Public speaking was his JOB IN KVACH THAT HE HAD 20 MINUTES BEFORE GETTING THERE. He could have literally just talked about Akatosh as per his normal routine and side-stepped the on-the-spot debuff, he had thoughts about Akatosh that he wrote well before this moment, just use that. Didn't do that though. He is a lovable booger, but a terrible priest.

my morrowind experience

applied like 1 billion firefox tweaks and got some extensions and shit and wow its actually dropped how much it uses my cpu. shocking

i got them from here + here. also for the second link 2 extensions are dead but you can replace one and still get the other from github

also don't forget to disable all the ai in firefox while you're at it. if you don't want the other tweaks and thus need instructions on how to get to the menu to change these, it's about:config, and you set them to false by clicking on the true. it saves automatically, just restart firefox after you do it

put rainbow laces on all my shoes recently which is fun and sexy but has the side effect that i have gotten multiple "i like your shoelaces" from strangers and like. i cant NOT "i stole them from the president" in return. just in case. but its recieved mostly awkward laughs and looks of confusion. embarrasing myself in public out here over my damn shoelaces.

Moving from Reddit to Tumblr I find it fascinating how different the Morrowind communities are. On Reddit, there seems to be this caste of thirty-something year old men either handing out gameplay advice like "you have to take the Atronach as a sign" or repeating the same fantasy-rascism jokes. There's talk about modding and difficulty etc. and I am thankful for the amount of information I was able to gather when I first played Morrowind after Oblivion and Skyrim.

On Tumblr I feel like there is this ocean of queer people in their early 20s that have wayyyyy too much talent and somehow constantly draw fanart of this game that's older than some of them. Beautiful fanart, wildly erotic fanart, fanart of blorbos I love to see. And there is absolutely nothing gameplay-related for the most part except "I am playing a mage" lol.
