The Division Incursions Livestreaming tonight

The Division Livestream
WKTA hits the DZ tonight. Tonight we will be doing more daily missions and some DZ levelling. Viewers are welcome to join in some DZ action with us. The stream will be available at 6:00pm Eastern and you can either visit our twitch page or simply check the very top of this blog where you can watch and interact with us live. So far there will only be two of us off on the journey, the initial part of the stream will be focused on daily missions while the second half will be focused on Dark Zone leveling. So we livestreamed for a bit last night, I want to thank all of you who tuned in even if it was only for a few minutes. Our daily routine on the game so far is to tackle the available daily missions for Phoenix coins, then we usually hit up the DZ. Tomorrow night we will be streaming as well, from 6:00pm eastern to 11:00pm Eastern, feel free to swing by and check out the stream. I would love to have more players but it seems like most of our team members have been busy as of late so for now it is me and xGSxBigD working on our character builds. I know that a lot of people view The Division livestreams for Dark Zone antics and I don't mind hunting down rogue agents but when there are only two of us, it does not work out so well. One of these days we will dedicate a stream to strictly hunting down rogue agents and of course battling high level enemies as we always do but I will inform all of you ahead of time before we do so so please stay tuned & thank you all for suporting the blog, you guys are awesome ^_^
The Division quick tips
Here I am going to share some of my tips based on my own personal experience along with some helpful builds I have found thanks to other players. The Dark Zone: As we all already know, the DZ is a lawless area within the game, if you've ever played games like Day Z or H1Z1 then you know what it's like to balance your trust & your trigger finger, the whole to kill or not to kill mentality. I can't count the many times I've manaed to get a massive amount of good loot only to end up being ambushed at extraction by a bunch of rogues and have it all stolen. My first tip is to never, never go alone if you plan on extracting anything, do not trust random players cause they can just be waiting for the right moment to attack & always remember that there is a high chance that these opponents may be way better equipped than yu and your team. avoid any confrlict if you must but if it's unavoidable then do what you must to hold on to your precious loot. Another thing you may want to try is to focus on leveling up instead of extracting loot, if you focus on just killing enemies and hunting down rogues then you may actually level up faster, just be sure to have equipment which may give you an XP increase per kill, even that 4% chance is helpful in the DZ cause the grind to 50 is a long one. Choosing your build: This is one of the most important things that most players may just overlook, the purpose of buying or earning that new gear is to help you build your character. One of the main stats you do not want to overlook are HP & Electronics, DPS does not matter unless it's something where every shot is connecting like an assault rifle or SMG, those do not matter for sniper rifles and Shotguns which can either be a slow double barrel or a bolt action marksman rifle. I for example have a tank build which is focused on close to long range, it's a bit of a hybrid build that needs some serious work once I get the right equipment for it. A good build should be able to make it through a daily challenge on challenging difficulty without any struggles at the very beginning of the missions. IGN Class builds Gamespot Builds Rock Paper Shotgun Solo Builds The Division Forums Character build guide There so many good builds, so many of your own hybrid builds that can be created as well, it just takes some time experimenting with your gear and see what works for you. Teamwork: The best way to make it through daily's and survive the DZ is making builds that help out the team. Obviously we know a tank is a damage sponge, they should be able to draw all attention to themselves, away from other teammates, the healer is supposed to make sure that the team stays alive nd especially the tank cause if the tank goes down, all attention goes back to the guys who cannot withstand the damage, making it more difficult for the team to stay alive. The tank and healers are the most important jobs on any squad. Then you can have the tech player which can focus on bringing in a gun Turret and laying down sme good DPS or suppression fire, the other should be a long and close range damage dealer, this will help the team lay down some serious damage, especially with the tank drawing all the attention. Remember, this game is all about teamwork, without the teamwork, you're going nowhere in the DZ & most definitely not surviving a daily. So make sure you discuss with your squad wht roles you want to take up before heading into battle.

The Division
Divided into two: The game's world is divided into two worlds, There is the main story where you can team up with friends and tackle the story as well as side quests that you may come across; in order to get more information about the story itself, you must gather intel hich is spread all over the map & unlike games like Destiny, you can atleast get the story from one source instead of going to a wiki or an app in order to get the game's plot; finding this intel gives you XP as well. The story is told as you progress but in order to get to the bottom of what actually happened before the viral attack on NY, you will need to gather all the intel. you will then eventually want to venture into the second part of the world which is the Dark Zone; this is where the grimiest of people go to gather good loot, whether earning it or stealing from other players. I unfortunately will not go into the details of the reason players opt to steal from other players cause it is an integral part of the story. I feel that the DZ should not have been revealed until the endgame so that it does not spoil the plot of the game for other players. Leveling system:The leveling system works differently than most MMO Hybrids, in order for the player to unlock new abilities, the player must upgrades their HQ, you have 3 types of abilities (Medical, Technological & Security) as you unlock the wings, you unlock more abilities, eventually you will unlock an entire wing which will enable you to add mods to your abilities. Gunplay: The gunplay feels right, the cover system is one of the best I have seen, you can easily transition from gover to cover & of course blindfire. The guns feel as they should, an LMG is not accurate but it is good for laying down suppression and setting up a good flank, SMG's are great damage dealers at close to mid-ranges while sniper/marksman rifles are great at long ranges, pistols are a good secodary and of course have unlimited ammo in case you are ever in a messed up situation without ammo on your primary & secondary weapons. Shotguns are good at close reanges but take some getting used to, the assault rifles are good for mid to long range and perks vary by the type of weapon, a green is a common and usually will not have an ability. A Blue will have one ability, purple will have two ability and a high end yellow will have three abilities... Now in order to be able to use these abilities you will need to have either electronics, stamina or DPS; this is where your gear comes into play, your gear helps either raise all or raise some and lower some.
Daily Challenges are part of the endgame, this is where you'll really be tested, you and your entire squad, this is not something where you go with randoms and expect to make it through the stage. These give you a high end item (Yellow gear) 30 Phoenix credits which is rare coin used to purchase high end items, armor pieces and that sort of thing.
I have to admit that I am a huge XCOM fan, sadly I began playing XCOM a little while after XCOM:EU & EW released. Played it on PS3, then I was so hooked that I bought EU on the Google Marketplace for Android, then bought it on Steam for my laptop. Eventually I ended up getting into the longwar mod and I must say that with the Longwar of, the game gets a lot better and of course it lasts a lot longer than the vanilla game. This Friday XCOM 2 releases, I wish that we could have gotten a pre-order Beta but unfortunately that did not happen, so basically I am just hoping Steam let's us download the game Thursday Midnight, I am looking forward to playing some XCOM 2 very soon. I also recommend checking out Totalbiscuit's YouTube channel ^_^

XCOM 2 I’m super excited about this entry in the series. I ended up buying XCOM: EU 3 times (PS3, Android & PC), I then picked up EW as DLC & still till this day it’s my number one game, it’s all I play on Steam so seeing the sequel and how it’s coming along, I am really happy. The character customization looks 10 times better with more features to edit, the enemies look insane and the new classes look interesting. Hopefully I can find more images and Gameplay footage soon.
Star Wars Battlefront 3 Beta Okay so I managed to download the beta yesterday on PS4 & so far I have some likes and dislikes. The game is fun 20 vs 20 AT Assault is awesome, large scale battles where the rebels must prevent the empire from bringing their walkers from one end of the map to the other, the only way to damage the AT's is to activate your satellites which I believe helps bring down their shields or protective barriers. For some odd reason, the rebels feel very underpowered while the Empire has a good arsenal, one of them being the ability to take control of an AT through power ups scattered throughout the map. That brings me to another issue, hopping into a TIE fighter or X-wing requires you to pick a power up, these things should be available at your very first spawn location or base, once in the X-Wing or TIE fighter, players should not be allowed to exit. Another issue I experienced was bad spawn, spawn locations are not chosen randomly so camping is something we experienced. The final product should hopefully address these issues. I personally love the game and believe it's awesome but the Matchmaking needs to be looked into and so does the spawn system.
Umbrella Corps (New RE shooter) We finally get another RE title, unfortunately it is in the form of a third person shooter which seems to be focused on multiplayer alone. Looks like Capcom liked the concept of the game being a shooter and sadly that is what some of the fans want. I am familiar with the many off shoots to the Resident Evil series, from the outbreak titles to the rail shooters but this seems like an unwanted concept. While I appreciate what slant six tried to bring us, a new perspective on the Raccoon city outbreak and sadly it was executed poorly, they could have surely done a better job but if one can take a moment and really think about how the game could have turned out if they took their time with this game and actually worked to make it a better game, a much better experience than the one we were given then maybe we would see another Slant Six title but unfortuntely they did not fair out so well. Now here we have a new RE title which of course is not carrying the RE title but rather the Umbrella Corps title and from the looks of it, it will be a third person shooter which will be focused online only. Maybe some RE fans will appreciate the effort while there are others like myself who feel that this is time and effort that can be spent on the main series rather than some other generic 3rd person shooter. Whatever happened to the survival horror aspect of the game? The game seems more action oriented nowadays, that has some of us seeking out other games to make up for that loss. RE Outbreak for example had and still has a cult following, many of us would love to see it return in some shape or form, we would actually love to see an actual sequel. Sadly this may not happen, Capcom seems to think that we all want RE to head down this route, the action, the shooter... not all of us and I know that any RE fan in their right mind would love to see the game o back to it's roots, the actual survival horror. Thia brings me to a game that has nothing to do with the RE series with the exception that it was RE's main competitor, but losing Silent Hills was tragic for this same exact reason; Silent Hills seemed to have been focused on many scary aspects, actual horror. RE has no current competitor unless you include game like "until dawn" but I can't even try to compare a game like until dawn to something like an RE game or a silent hill game. Think about this too... We're supposed to be seeing H1Z1 & Day Z make their way to current gen home consoles sometime next year, survival horror MMO's, this is something that RE Outbreak could step into, Outbreak File#3 in this day and age can easily become an MMO. I can't say that the game does not look good but I can't just go by visuals and the only gameplay video that has been shown is not very appealing to me (see video below). Maybe some of my followers may feel that I am blowing this all out of proportion but I speak as a fan of the series; I speak with my wallet, I usually won't bother with putting a game down, especilly a series that I am fond of, but I hate to see this series go any further down the drain. Not having Shinji on the team does not mean doom, so that is no excuse, bring back the survival horror.
