I decided to finally draw up the squirrel and moose duo after finally watching through the entirety of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Honestly, I can see why so many cartoons were influenced by this series and it's got great humor and an iconic style that honestly still holds up even after all these years. Plus the variety it has with its different segments, like Fractured Fairy Tales, Aesop and Son, Peabody's Improbable History and Dudley Do-Right. It's loads of fun.

Today is Independence Day, but this one is the 250th one, from 1776 to 2026, so I figured, for this occasion, have Jake, Billy and Tilda wearing different hats to represent it!

Today is my birthday, so I decided I would cook up a drawing with me and various of my OCs celebrating my birthday. Really love the composition of this piece, might be one of my proudest art pieces, love the use of color and shading in this one, and the use of perspective.

It was inspired by the DVD and VHS cover of Franklin's Birthday Party, and I felt like it captured the vibe I wanted to draw.

The Amazing Digital Circus was an indie animated cartoon that I was heavily invested in ever since it released back in October 2023, and now that I got back from seeing the finale, I figured it would be the perfect time to draw up a picture of Pomni giving a heart gesture. I have nothing but intense respect for how Gooseworx managed to work on her series, and this video is here to talk about its praises, and to give shout outs to some groups and people.

I even created a video talking about how much of an influential piece of work it is, from talking about how it started as a bit of a goofy show to how it ended off as a deeper, more complex and more thought-provoking show:

After hearing the distressing news of voice actor Tom Kane (a voice actor featured in things like The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, various pieces of Star Wars works, etc.) passing away, I had to cook up this drawing of Professor Utonium from PPG. He was not too hard to draw but still, sucks to see another voice acting legend disappear.

Rest in peace, Tom Kane. Gone but never forgotten.

Two May Pilots

After seeing both of these pilots yesterday, I felt like drawing up Butterfly from Planetronika and Kit from Gameoverse. They were actually both really fun. The former gave loads of fun and neat 2000s cartoon vibes while the latter had some great characters and writing set inside a video game world (and produced by Glitch, aka the company behind TADC and Murder Drones). I figured after seeing them both on the same day, I would draw them up!

Rough animation I did during the Christmas holidays. Not my best work and I won't have time to finish it, but I thought it would be a shame to let it rot on my computer when I spent quite a bit of time on it

I actually sat through the whole series of The Buzz on Maggie the other day, and found it quite underrated honestly, so I decided to draw up Maggie Pesky herself, being loveable and cute!

The Promised Neverland is an anime that used to be so beloved when it first came out, and then two years later, people stopped talking about it. Let's find out why together, shall we?

To commemorate @refrainbowno1's birthday, I decided to draw my OC, Tilda, teaching his OC, Harriet Jinjur, how to tap dance. Harriet has her tap shoes on for this occasion! Looks like they're having fun!

After watching through the animated pilot of Homestuck which was awesome, I felt inspired to draw up the four main characters of the series, John Egbert, Dave Strider, Rose Lalonde and Jade Harley, and in my own style. I never got round to reading all 8000+ pages, so I'm very excited to see if this pilot goes anywhere!

Quick Homestuck Pilot Review

Just got back from seeing the Homestuck pilot, and boy, was it a blast!

Really loved the animation that was shown and how accurate it looked to its source material while still looking unique, the voice acting was awesome (who would have thought that Toby Fox would make an amazing John Egbert) and they deliver such lines perfectly. It had plenty of fun moments and dialogue, and it felt sweet to see all the other characters and events teased at the end.

I will say that the pacing felt kinda fast, and I have seen some people say that criticism, and it's a fair one. Though I will say, considering that the original webcomic is 8000+ pages long, I don't mind seeing it condensed to make it easier to watch. That was a reason why I never really got into the webcomic aside from the characters and the game Hiveswap on PC (which is really good). But at least with this, I'll be able to get into the Homestuck series easier.

I do hope that this becomes a full series since I'd be down to seeing this become a full thing!
