Can we please ban Rick from retelling myths already
The book is Percy Jackson and the Greek gods in Hestia's chapter. My anger doesn't even come from the original author (Ovid) painting my patron like this, myths are myths and they serve as metaphors and advice or whatnot. The point is that Rick wrote this in such a brash way that the reader is supposed to find this funny.

''Elagabalus was such a bad emperor.'' Are we actually expecting a 14 year old to know how to run an empire? Let's not forget that Dio was biased too and sometimes had to rely on second-hand information because he wasn't in Rome for the greater part of the period.
