in the fantasy? au is claude just a knight or is he something else?

SO. ive been thinking about this and i'm stuck between claude being a prince that sneaks out to meet john or a knight that gets kidnapped by him and subsequently stays in his tower.

both motivations remain the same in that they grow inexorably attached to the dragon and will subsequently do anything to protect him

Prince that got kidnapped by a dragon speaks to me 👀 But what if we combine it. And Claude was dressed as a knight becasue he wanted to go out of the castle and not be surounded by guards? John thinks he grabbed someone non important and whole nation Has panic attack becasue Prince didnt leave his chambers in a week?

Whenever I discuss John’s schizophrenia and someone is like “well he was misdiagnosed in canon” I kind of. Laugh.
