the thought of the kids at school made eli wonder why he offered to assist in some way for the sports sessions. "Yeah... I regret saying I'd help with the school now... I hated other students when I was a student.." he admitted. "I know... but it would be nice to hear off the... especially since I could have been killed by whoever thinks they can get away with killing us." He pointed out.
"Nothing wrong with helping the next generation," he told him. As much as on same days Kaus disliked it. That was why he only taught art and to students that wanted to learn. Klaus frowned. "You are worried about being killed and my son doesn't think to care at all for his safety. You kids are really testing all our parenting skills."
Charlie shrugged his shoulders in response, contemplating his uncle's words. Deep down, he understood that his father would disapprove of his actions, but at that moment, he was more interested in enjoying himself. "As engaging as this lecture is, I'd rather brush it off and head out to have a good time," he confessed with another casual shrug. "I really don't need a lecture, I thought you were the cool uncle but I guess that title belongs to uncle kol"
"Oh, I am deeply hurt," Klaus said sarcastically when the other told him he wasn't the cool uncle anymore. "I will be sure to tell him that." Kol would be much less fun when Kol was killing room fulls of people and Charlie was covered in their blood. "As I said, you should considered how you behaviour is affecting those around you, because a good time is great, but rude is rude."
“that’s nice to hear.” she remarked, it was nice to see the other content with his life. it was shocking to see this change but maybe that was what happened when you were in love. hearing his proposal, her eyebrow raised for a moment. “as tempting as that sounds, I’m more of a lone wolf. being in charge has never been my thing but I will think on it.” and she meant it, she had to think on the proposal idea.
"Disappointing," he said with a shrug. He would have to keep looking for someone else. Where was his brother when he needed him? Someone to attend foolish meetings with him. "Though the lone wolf thing doesn't really work in New Orleans. Too many rules."
Summer hadn't intended to intervene in the situation unfolding before her, yet her accidental nudge of the nearby bin drew the attention of the hybrid now standing before her. The girl stammered out an explanation, her voice shaky and apologetic as she fidgeted with the hem of her shirt. "I-I swear, I didn't mean to do anything. I was just curious. I'm sorry," she pleaded, her eyes wide with uncertainty and unease.
It took a moment to recall Summer from the photos from her funeral. He still recalled the days when she was a 5 year old child. "It's okay," he said with a shrug. "Welcome back to the living, Summer."
