The people who ship Armand and Daniel in the show are basing it entirely on the books and the fact the showrunner said their relationship will happen at some point on screen. It's likely some of the looks Armand was giving Daniel throughout season 2 had deeper meaning but nothing from Daniel’s side had anything to do with longing, lust, reminiscence or affection. He literally only knows Armand as the asshole who tortured him lol

Feels like a lot of people are shipping it from the show but maybe im wrong.

I think Levi's donates to Outreach International every year too, as well as sponsoring pride events and other community support. They were offering Same Sex domestic partner benefits to employees in the 90s, and have been very public about their support for pro-lgbt legislation all through the 2000s.

So, you know, a giant corporation that walks the walk pretty consistently.
