"A beach trip sounds perfect," the Doctor told Diana as he began to program coordinates into the TARDIS. "It sounds like the perfect get-away spot for the summer actually. Are you ready?" he asked as he then pulled the last lever for the TARDIS to take off, landing just moments later.
For a beach trip? I am always ready, Doctor.
The Doctor looked over at her, surprised at how quickly she had gotten ready. She was already in her beach wear. "You were ready," he told her as he then pulled the last lever for the TARDIS to take off, landing just a few moments later. The Doctor went to put on some beach wear himself and then lead the way out onto the beach.
[Diana gives the Doctor a sweet yet slightly cheeky grin as she follows his lead.] A century of crime fighting with a secret identity and the speed of Hermes makes a change of attire remarkably swift, Doctor. Now, will this be a time-traveling trip to the beach, or are we to remain in the present today?
"I suppose that's true if you already have the clothes with you. Did you already have the bikini with you? Do you just carry a bunch of clothes with you all the time?" It didn't sound completely unbelievable, even if he didn't know the specifics.
He then grinned at her other question. "I figured you might like a beach without as many people, so we did time travel to a time period where there wouldn't be as many people."
I can change into any outfit in a moment's notice. My costume, my Golden Armor of Asteria, or civilian outfits like this bikini! Do tell! I'm curious what time period we've arrive in.

An engineering team working under the umbrella of Joseph's corporation had been taken hostage by anti government forces in the West African nation they were there to start construction of a hospital. Of course, the U.N. had promised to send in negotiators to work on getting the people released, a promise that Joseph did not trust at all. So, he activated his rescue force, created in secret by his grandfather decades ago. Now, the force is off the coast of the country in question, the Hornet, the former USS Hornet, saved by Joseph's grandfather from the scrap yard back in the 90s, launching evolved F4U Corsair fighters and similarly evolved Douglas Skyraiders from her flight deck. A distance away, the converted cargo container ship, Tripoli, now a troop transport/helicopter carrier, is launching UH1 Huey troop transport helicopters, and AH1 Cobra gunships, the helicopters heading inland at treetop level, then fixed wing aircraft following in a zig zag flight path, so as not to overtake the helicopters. Joseph is sitting in the doorway of one of the UH1 Hueys, feet hanging in the air, like he had so many time while deployed with the Marines during the Afghanistan campaign. He thinks, "Well, back in action, again." "For a good cause though, no politics involved."

The Huey 'bounces' in the air, as if they hit a pocket of severe turbulence. When things are settled and the helicopters are back on a steady heading, the pilots are talking on the radio, trying to figure out what happened, each flight crew visually inspecting another helicopter out the window for any damage. All seems good, so, Joseph orders the mission to continue. Then the radio call came in, and the co pilot hands a headset back to Joseph so he can hear what is being said. No one has spotted another aircraft, not the Corsairs flying top cover especially. Deciding to answer, Joseph says, "Whoever you are, egress the area immediately and stay off this channel, possible hostile action in this area soon." He thinks, "Should have said nothing, might be a trick by the hostage takers to confuse us, if they know we are coming already."

Unknown craft, I don't recognize your markings. Are you US Military? [Diana reduces speed and awaits response. Her years of working with the US Air Force and ARGUS would mean little in a universe that doesn't have a Wonder Woman.]

[The Invisible Jet exits the portal and soars past the UH1 Huey. Wonder Woman steadies the aircraft and breathes a sigh of relief. She may not have hit any of the other aircraft, but there is no way they didn't feel the turbulence left in the Invisible Jet's wake.] That was too close for comfort. [Diana sends out a broadcast to the other craft.] Wonder Woman speaking. I apologize for the engine wash.

My legs are fine. And I'm fine. Focus, please. I don't know who you are or why you're dressed like Deathstroke, but I'll be happy to help send you back to whichever Earth you come from.

[Diana ties her hair back.] Worry not, dear Zatanna. Magic would be welcome, but not necessary. Perhaps we could fix it together. I would love a helping hand.
Dear Wonder Woman, Can the powers of your Lasso of Truth be used against you by someone?
I am not immune to my own Lasso's power, but why would I try to resist it? I believe we must be honest and I try to lead by example. The Lasso is unbreakable, though. I have been captured by my enemies many times and my clever adversaries know that tying me up with my own Lasso is one of the few effective ways to restrain me.
