When he heard the dog’s heartbeat pick up he leaned closer and buried his face in the animal’s fur. Maybe he should keep it and slowly grow accustomed to the dog’s scent. He might just then not try to kill him once again.
He glanced up at her when she mentioned magic and stared for a moment. He knew there was something different about her. “I… I haven’t…” He let out a short chuckle. “Yeah you kinda made me a believer with that display of wonders.” He smiled at her, “But thank you. Thank you so much.”
Watching Adam bury his face against the dog’s thick fur was a sight that had her smiling despite her anxiety. She couldn’t complain however, he created to the revelation much better than she had initially feared. Tatiana laughed in relief. “Keep a secret though, will you? To regular humans it’s just as crazy as the idea of werewolves… Which, after the last time we ran into each-other, I’m guessing is exactly what you are.” A teasing smile tugged at her lips at the memory.
He nodded, a small grin spreading over his lips. "Sure. My lips are sealed." A blush suddenly erupted onto his cheeks, spreading over his face and up to the tips of his ears. "Yeah... About that... It's not that I didn't want to tell you, it's just that you don't know who you can trust these days."
