I can’t believe that fitness trainers recommend a 1300 calorie diet!! If you are working out on top of that how could you survive? Most meals ( at least the ones I eat) are around 400 calories… 400 x 3 meals = 1200 calories. But what about the cream/sugar that goes in your coffee, or ANY snacks, or ANY beverage that isn’t water? Plus burn about 300 calories of that low calorie diet from working out…
It just blows me away they think people can live on that. Seriously… I had a lean cuisine for lunch the other day which was 250 calories and I ate it and went… okay now where’s my REAL lunch? I just ended up snacking a bunch when I got home famished.
I just love food too much.
It’s all well and good to like food, but if you are gaining weight uncontrollably, you are putting yourself at risk of type two diabetes. Eat what you want, just make sure you do enough exercise to get rid of the excess fat you are putting on.

Also, fyi, the average adult woman needs way more than 1800 calories a day, and the average man more than 2200. The first post is just as absurd.
I completed my psych degree, and I'm working on a Bachelor of Nursing. I'm a qualified telephone counsellor. I've helped people. Psychologists aren't dietitians, but it doesn't take a genius to realise that if you go for foods like vegetables that have a very low calorie count rather than potatoes or McDonalds, you can easily live on 1800 calories per day.
Well, depending on what you are doing anyway. Obviously a professional sports person is going to need more high GI foods than a couch potato. Anyway, sorry for nosing in to make sure you weren't killing yourself. I'll try harder to be less nice next time.

I can, without a doubt, say you "fat acceptance" people are morons. Sure, being slightly overweight is fine. I mean, it isn't helping, but sure, you're doing OK.
Now, if you are obese, and you know if you are, you have a problem. And that problem comes in the form of atherosclerosis, type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis.
Atherosclerosis is the build up of fatty deposits in the arteries, especially, but not limited to the coronary arteries supplying blood to your heart. When you stay obese and maintain a high level of low density lipids (that's saturated fats to you) within your bloodstream, they make their way into the lining of your arteries and make them grow. I'm not saying you could completely avoid this. Everyone has it to some degree, and the arteries are capable of expanding outwards for a while to accommodate your terrible lifestyle. But eventually, they can't, and must expand inwards. They gradually occlude (block) the arteries supplying the heart, and when they burst, they form blood clots and result in a heart attack, also known as a myocardial infarction. This can also happen in the arteries supplying the brain, causing a stroke. Both of these can be resisted and even prevented by losing some fucking weight.
Type two diabetes is a subject quite close to me, as I am a type one. I have empathy for type twos, I really do. Having to monitor your diet and take shit like metformin is bound to be a pain in the ass. And if you get it as a result of suffering from gestational diabetes, I feel for you, especially if you are insulin dependant. But, if you remain persistently obese and increase your insulin resistance because you can't resist one more round of big macs, you don't deserve my empathy, and I sure as shit won't be sympathetic. You may have a genetic predisposition to type two, sure, but you can significantly delay or even completely prevent it's onset by first, losing some weight, and second, getting rid of those pathetic excuses about how you can't afford to eat healthy, because you sure as shit can if you're buying more than one medium meal of fast food from any chain per day.
And finally, osteoporosis. Brittle and weak bones. In your case, it has come from the downward force of gravity weighing down on your joints and bones, constantly putting pressure on them. Your joints cry out for relief they won't ever get unless you lose weight.
So no. You aren't a skinny person trapped in the body of a fat person. You aren't healthy, even if some of you may even still qualify as beautiful to chubby chasers (who really don't chase you, due to the fact that you don't run anywhere). Put down that french fry and pick up a head of broccoli. If you don't like broccoli, try snow peas. Or an ear of corn. Snack on something healthy, instead of your own life.
