holy shit
Polyamory is safe for work. Polyamory is safe for kids. Polyamory is safe for day time tv. Polyamory isn’t more sexual than any other relationship and it can be just as romantic, sweet, and healthy.
everyone loves to hate terfs until they realise that it actually entails rejecting bioessentialism entirely and then suddenly you’re “taking things too seriously” and you “don’t have a sense of humour” like i’m sorry but saying protect the dolls doesn’t make you immune to terfism it has seeped into every corner of mainstream feminism and unless you’re actively searching it out and checking your own biases you will always be at risk of sharing a space with terfs
“Only women can—” nope. “But all men—” nah. “The divine femininity of—” gonna stop you right there. “Everyone born ama—” if you finish that sentence I’ll kill you. “Men don’t experience—” you’re wrong. “Gender isn’t real but sex is imm—” *loud incorrect buzzer*
It also goes without saying that bioessentialism inherently can’t be trans inclusive no matter how hard you try. “All men including trans men—” probably not. “This is only a woman’s issue—” is it really? “Afabs only—” why? “All trans men are like—” what? what are they like? finish the sentence i dare you.
throughout the late 2000s and early 2010s, our generation was inundated with aave. it eclipsed lolcat as the "funny way to talk." ain't nobody got time fo dat turns into dat boi o shit waddup. this is blatantly not an "aracial" or "gen z" way to talk. it IS black english. not to mention the amount of black reaction images!!
WHY, specifically, is it black peoples' facial expressions that are seen as just so comical or exaggerated? analyze the history of this nation's comedy and tell me why you might be predisposed to thinking of black peoples' faces as just, "more emotive" or exaggeratedly funny than a white or nonblack person's
and throughout those years, 00s-10s, many black bloggers -- victims of the mass staff-led purge (under the cover of them being 'russian' while reichblr still exists) -- they DID tell us it was a problem, DID try to educate people who freak out at the insinuation of 'being racist,' DID argue, DID point out the duplicity and the appropriation and the gross equivalence of african american slang with unintelligence, goofiness, etc. and they were ignored, abused, cancelled, chased off, until being eventually mass deleted by our racist transmisogynistic staff.
we didn't do enough, and the generation after us gen z "kids" didn't stop the trend. using the '-ahh' suffix. rizz. no cap. ate. delulu. it's giving. it's serving. crash out. lock in. aura. tea. main character. bruh. slay. real. keep it 100.
all of the following images are or were popular reaction images! what do they all have in common?
it feels like the effort to categorize slang as AAVE and not 'gen z' or 'gen alpha' slang has really petered out. it feels like we stopped talking about digital blackface in an era where the administration is posting ai-generated videos of black women who speak and act like exaggerated stereotypes and it frustrates me because we all have a responsibility to understand our generation's role in normalizing this type of racist shit for kids today. this needs to be addressed!
It's fun being queer and weird and unconventional until you remember you live in a society

Leather fetishes are back in cuz everything is polyester these days.. touching real HQ material in 2026 is enough to give anyone a little sexual zing
One For The Angels is old man yaoi for those with the eyes to see it
no because really, the basic thought that goes unchallenged and has been internalized by much of the queer community is that transmasc’s presence in a space is potential cause for concern, but our absence never is. We are always at risk of taking up all the air from everyone else, and are never deserving of it. Do you understand what i mean? this is the sort of shame i came to know very quickly as a young trans man online. and I think we should all reflect on that impulse and what greater good exactly its supposed to serve.
and- i will say- this shame didn’t feel all that different at all from being a girl online and having people talk snidely about the interests of young girls or their imposter status in other communities. It absolutely was not a new feeling to be put down and shamed in that way and i think that made it hurt worse.

this must go so hard if you're stupid
Research finds that porn-related problems are predominantly caused by religious conflict. Clinically, this means people need help, but not n
The obsession with pornography somehow being addictive or damaging is just stock-standard reactionary moral-panic, and the science backs me up. I cite my sources when making claims, they never will because the sources don't exist, or are opinion-piece drivel.
You hear about "porn addicts relapsing" and it's never like "I spent the rent money on OnlyFans" it's "I rubbed one out and cried about it for hours after"
"It always was [internalized sex-negativity and 'sinfulness', maybe self-directed homophobia, perhaps even repressed gender dysphoria]?"
"Always has been."
what on earth does porn addiction have to do with kids being exposed to porn lmfao?
Charyou-tree did link an article on 'porn addiction' not being real, but stated that the obsession with porn being somehow 'addictive' or damaging is a reactionary moral panic. Which is very much in line with what I was trying to get across in the OP.
I think your choice of words here is very telling. Kids being 'exposed' to porn like they are getting exposed to radiation or something. Seeing naked humans having sex, or even seeing something like bondage or 'rough' sex on screen is not inherently damaging.
What is damaging, is kids being denied any kind of resource that would allow them to understand to what they are seeing.
A resource that would allow them to understand consent, boundaries, and that their own sexual desires are normal and not something to be ashamed of. That would allow them to put the porn they saw in context. That would allow them to navigate the waters of the internet more confidently and safely going forward.
It is entirely possible, maybe even likely, that a child stumbling across some hardcore clip will be confused and scared by it. The thing that would help this kid is having a person they feel feel comfortable talking to, that is not going to punish them for looking at porn, that is going to listen, actually listen, to them and have a conversation about it.
You know what would not help this kid? Punishment, restricted internet access, and increased parental surveillance. Which is what people like aft*nfamilyvalues want.
King shit ngl
