I was going to shoot a romance book recommendation video today (i read the ebook) and needed a few romance books to showcase in the video and then i looked at my collections of book and realized it's just weird mixture of classics and crime because i always read a romance in ebooks.

Hey my writer and reader friends- here's a confession

I'M AN INFLUENCER. Specifically a makeup Content Creator. Or atleast I'm trying to be. and I've recently started a new series where i talk about books AND do a makeup look inspired by them. My main focus is to make content surrounding these two niches.I really want to build a community of people who are interested in both of those things. But APPARENTLY i only have 29 followers. T T. It gets frustrating some times.

Writing update !!!

Some time ago I wrote a crime thriller. A short story. I wasn't satisfied with it because there were still too many details I wanted to add so I decided to turn it into a novella. At first I thought I couldn't do it. But guess what? I am doing it. I already cracked the code to how I want to keep going even if Ii don't feel like writing. I found the writing style for this particular story.

And so much of this has happened because of the people who have given me advice in here. Thank you so muchhhh.

Being a writer is- writing one setence and going back to the pinterest board you made or notes to check the details you need to add.

day 4- daydreaming about the new world you're going to build

day 5- daydreaming about writing

day 6- trying to write

Make Your character Realistic (things i learn from my daily life : ) )

When your character is on a path of self destruction don't make them realize, instead make them relish in it. Let them enjoy. Let them think that there' s nothing wrong in what they're doing, and then slowly as they descend down that path of destruction hit them with the sudden realization of what has they gotten themselves into .

(Example : I had been preparing for my entrance exam for a month now and i spent every minute on my desk studying, making notes, flashcards and god knows what. But i never thought i was overworking myself. I forgot about everything, workouts, cooking, art, reading etc. the things that i enjoy. I never thought i'm someone who takes great stress for a mere exam because in the past i've passed classes with flying colors with the least amount of preparation. However, right before a week from my exam i fell sick. and I am sick as i'm writing this. though the fever has subsided, the illness has taken a toll on my body. I never realized i pushed myself into this.)

So, don't overwork yourself :)

Writers and Publishing

Can we talk about how often we hear that authors are struggling to get an agent to read their books but if you're an influencer or a famous personality, things come way easier?

How is it fair? I'm not ridiculing influencers but c'mon some books just don't deserve the hype they get. THIS is not just a business to make money. Some people actually do it because they respect writing and literature. Some people actually do it because their voice, stories and ideas can actually bring change.

What do you think about this?

Writers! Have you ever tried writing a genre and figured you're horrible at it?

Mostly I'm a crime, fantasy, paranormal fiction writer which made one of my teachers believe that i only read crime fiction and she said try exploring more because you're writing is good.

So i tried writing romance and let me tell you I'm horrible at it ! I have read a numerous amount of romance books and as my taste started to develop i became very picky in reading romance. So i decided to write Romance.

I'm never writing romance again. EVER. AGAIN.
