Raven is relaxing in the sofa reading a book and minding her business. When all of a sudden a green bird lands on the coffee table infront of her. She simply raised her eyebrows at the bird and watched what he plans on doing next.
Is he going to mess with my tea? Is this some sort of immature prank?
She then scanned the room for any signs of an accomplice, a stupid contraption, or anything to give her a hint on what he's planning on doing, but they're all alone.
The bird squawked and flapped it's wings demanding attention.
Raven rolled her eyes and decided to amuse whatever the green one's intentions are. She laid her book beside her and sighed. Her eyes locked in on the bird infront of her, signaling that she's paying attention.
The bird hopped in excitement and got into position.
What happened next stunned the sorceress and left her speechless, she wasn't able to predict this at all. Infront of her the green bird began to perform a choreographed dance. She held a muffled chuckle.
The green bird heard this and froze. Raven hoped he would continue further. She wouldn't say it out loud but the spontaneous act of her green boyfriend in the moment truly caught her off guard.
The bird tilted his head until he realized that he made her laugh, almost. He then changed into a different bird he thought that perhaps this choreography would be more appreciated.
Raven gave a light smile, this encouraged the green titan even further. Truth be told he did not think it would amuse her at all, he was watching bird documentaries and decided to teach himself their mating dances just to kill time while his girlfriend meditated. After some days of practice he was now ready to entice his girlfriend.
It wasn't perfect, he would make small mistakes but quickly recover from it. Raven just found it so much more charming and lightly giggled.
After the performance he transformed back into his original form and was now sitting on the coffee table.
"Did that make you laugh? Did I finally make you genuinely laugh?" His grin going from ear to ear, leaning closely to her waiting for an answer.
The sorceress just looked away from Beast Boy and tried to deny it "No!..it was honestly embarrassing. You're lucky the others aren't here"
"riighhttt.." Beast Boy just looked mischievously at the woman infront of him waiting for her stoic expression to break.
Raven made eye contact with the man infront of him and blushed. He wiggled his eyebrows and she looked away again in defeat.
"If I was a female bird I wouldn't be persuaded by that dancing, you made alot of mistakes I don't think it'd be the qualities a bird would be looking for" She crossed her arms.
"Well, if you looked at my direction you'd see the qualities a raven might be looking for", Beast boy smirked, Raven huffed in response.
"Strong..." he flexed his muscles "...Handsome, Loyal, Affectionate, Emotionally intelligent too."
Raven now composed herself and rolled her eyes at him "of course you are" she said with a sarcastic tone.
