we've had many lengthy discussions about this at the bandslam offices and we've come to the conclusion that it’s THE HAIR, he’s an indie justin bieber. all he has to do is flick that fringe of his and all of the girls come running. but no, seriously we’ve heard that he’s quite the charming fellow and we’re sure that helps too.

it’s a known fact that all three NEW NOW guys are hot af, but honestly, johnathan could knock daddykota off of that pedestal we’ve all been putting him on lately. we sure hope he’s single, but we’ve also heard he’s close to unofficial CRASHING CORNERS groupie miss bea donovan. whether or not there’s something there, we’re not sure. we’ll get back to you on that.

well, yes, the boy’s interesting. that’s not to say the other musicians aren’t, though, as we know there’s a lot of juicy gossip out there about ALL of the featured bands and artists we talk about here at bandslam. however, we can only speak on what we receive.

( AN OOC NOTE: we love every single character in this rp equally. there are so many muses we’d love to feature more on bandslam. so much so, that we’ve asked members on multiple occasions to send asks about their muses, and even taken it into our own hands on previous occasions and submitted asks about other people’s characters for them so that their plots - which are just as interesting as anyone’s - are being given attention too. however, there’s a danger in doing that. we could send in an ask about a character, but have misread the situation or maybe bandslam had no way of knowing the info in question. we know that bandslam serves as a huge aid to the plot here, so we wouldn’t want to perpetuate narratives about characters that aren’t what their muns intended. ricky was mentioned in the previous ask about nate and geeta, because it would be something that concerned him - however we do want to take a step back from talking about him on here as we would never want solely admin characters to take importance away from the rest. with this being said, please, please, please. leave us bandslam asks about your characters and their plots. we want to give them a platform. much love xx )

did i see nate and geeta getting cozy at the beach? i couldn't tell what they were saying, but could sparks be flying between the two violets again?

we can confirm that somebody from team bandslam managed to catch a glimpse of this, and it sure looked that way. nate’s jacket around gee’s shoulders and everything! SHY VIOLETS could be on their way to having an in-band couple again, how scandalous! this could be pretty interesting. surely geeta’s CRASHING CORNERS bestie won’t be too happy about it. perhaps he’ll have that in common with hugo, who was allegedly  a little down in the dumps the last time he found out nate was getting cozy with someone. we’re just sayin’.

IT'S CONFIRMED, jade and dakota are totally totally into each other. they were all over each other.

it’s true, guys. at least, we think? every time we saw them together at the fundraiser, they were totally denying anything going on between the two of them. they were definitely all over each other, though. but maybe that’s just because the SHY VIOLET had reached an embarrassing level of drunk. 

sidenote, an interesting tidbit: daddy dakota himself was overheard saying something as they were leaving that makes us think jadey v might be crashing at his place. doesn’t this make things all the more interesting?

as you know by now, things are a little different around here at bandslam hq. since changing our platform from print to digital media, we’ve kept our loyal fans but unfortunately lost some of our once-loyal sponsors. (can we get an ‘aww’?) but rather than hang our heads in sorrow, we’re accepting this bummer as a blessing in disguise. you see, we know that YOU — our awesome readers — will be willing to help us out in exchange for a little something. or maybe a big something. how does a massive party on venice beach sound?

cutest pets?

we think it’s safe to say that mr. buzz moore has became something of a celebrity in his own right, or maybe that’s just due to all the photos his dad posts 24/7. i mean, we’re not complaining! we’ve also heard that bean has something of an army of pets herself, but one thing’s for sure; we need more pet photos! pet photos and gossip, that’s our new mission statement.

people you love to see interact for drama/etc?

it sure seems like jade and bea have some unresolved conflict, at least from what we’ve heard. whatever the cause, we wouldn’t mind seeing them duke it out in person (side note: our money would be on bea). speaking of bea, did everyone else spot that awkward encounter of hers with mason at the jukebox? we’d love to follow those two and see what else goes down. otherwise, we get a kick out of watching the tension brew between THE NEW NOW fellas; we’re not quite convinced everything is as happy as it seems over in that band. and not to mention, there’s oliver interacting with just about everyone, especially PANDEMONIUM’s very own manager. that oliver, he sure seems to be hiding something…

between you and us, we do. we really think PANDEMONIUM’s oliver could be hiding something, we’re just not sure what. he seems to sneak around a lot. he’s not the only secretive one, though. some other honorable mentions of those we feel have something fishy going on are sage, nohemi aaand chet.

when are ricky and geeta gonna bite the bullet?

we both love and hate the thought of this. on the one hand, they’ve been best friends for ever, and we’re sure that the SHY VIOLET in question is the only one who can get beneath that rough & tuff exterior the CRASHING CORNERS frontman has. on the other hand, they’re completely different, and we love the whole confusing dynamic between the two bands that wouldn’t really exist if they all knew where they stood with each other. the chemistry they have can’t be ignored, though. are they blind or something?

who would you NOT want to see date

hmm. definitely ryan donovan and jadey v. don’t let those two get back together EVER again, please. we’d also hate to see THE NEW NOW’s frontman with... well, absolutely anyone, because we want him all to ourselves. in fact, same goes for STREET DILEMMA’s joey reyes. she, too, is pretty dreamy.

i heard lucky was spotted at pandemonium's latest gig!! weird though, it doesn't seem like his scene.

you’re right, it doesn’t seem like the DREAM TSUNAMI drummer’s scene, but it’s not surprising either since we sense a little bit of a spark between him and kieran... are they hooking up? mutual crushes? friends? we wanna know.

How much do you have to hate yourself to become a groupie

honestly, we’d love to be a groupie! living off mummy and daddy’s money, being able to go to gigs, sleeping with band members. what’s wrong with that?! i mean it must suck sometimes, having to wait out in the cold for the bands and having to fight for the bands attentions, but all in all --- it sounds like it could be fun.

nope! it’s been pretty quiet here at the bandslam offices, it seems that no one wants to start any drama. which sucks majorly, c’mon guys --- get loose and live a little! get drunk, say things you don’t mean, get into fights and have one night stands. we live for drama here at bandslam and we’re missing that in our lives right now.

readers, what year is this again? since when does meeting someone a few weeks ago, a few flirting sessions, and going on one single date basically a couple? unless they’re trying out speed dating, i don’t think ‘couple’ is the term i’d use just yet. but i guess you’re not completely wrong—they are adorable, to some extent. of course… if you know something we don’t, as always, feel free to send it in and enlighten us.
