i want to start off with one question.
if you had the choice, would you change your life?
let me rephrase this to those who said yes and no, what aspect would you change about your life? what would you drastically change and what would you consider changing?
for those who said idk? i got this for you. do you read any media? i moreover mean entertaining media. the media that makes you feel entranced or feel like your not in your reality? what in these media do you get inspired by? for what drives you away or brings you into that story?
what problem would bring to the site, you might ask. well? well.
if you (as in me) had to change anything, what would my answer be? well, nothing. “nothing ..? really? you posed a large question and gave answers that could make anyone question their life and you wouldn't change anything?”
if you wish that you didn’t have to be friends or married to a person, and would never tell them for any reason, why think the thought?
sure, i can pose these special questions every day, not answer them, then just forget and move on.
i could look back and say, yeh id change so and so.
Thats where i am at. the answer “i wouldn’t change anything” isn’t because ego is in control, or because i want to be wise. i have constantly looked at my past and realized…what is the goddamn point of changing what can’t change. hypothetically, nihilism is half existential crisis inducer, but its also based off of an extreme veiw that there is no point to anything. this view i heavily disagree with, but it does pose a very interesting thought process.
what is the point off your life? a similar question, what is the meaning of life?
well…i got a good answer and if it isn’t satisfactory, i tried
the point of organisms is to survive and reprduce. the point of intelligent creatures and/or social creatures is to adapt and be in the best possible situation for themselves. for us humans, its to fulfill our dreams desires or needs. those being socializing, eating, sleeping and being in the least stressful situation, and doing what we enjoy and are best at.
and we are here. all because i contemplated the wish that i was able to gain much more connections and friends with a different lifestyle.
