i probably won't be consistent with my writing. it's not my main hobby - if it even can be considered a hobby - but if there will be any requests, I'll try to finish them asap!!

A/N: I honestly didn't think I'd write for anything other than twst but here we are since I finished bllk a couple of days ago. characters aged up!
almost choked after they tried to drink down wine using vodka mixed with the tiniest bit of apple juice, convinced it was alcohol free

vibed to 'Prawy do Lewego' with you so hard he crashed right into the table with desserts

his favourite part of the wedding were the "wedding gates" (where the guests were obstacles for the newlyweds on their way and had to be "bought" with sweets and alcohol)

that one uncle decided to target your partner and stole him to the dance floor
-> Rin, Michael, Alexis, Hiori, Chigiri
got forced to play the guitar with the band
-> Gagamaru, Raichi, Kuon, Ishikari, Tokimitsu
kidnapped by your baby cousins to dance in a circle with them
-> Barou, Aryu, Bachira, Sendou, Kunigami
accidentally joined the gossip group with the aunties, suddenly finding out all the darkest secrets of your family

forced to drink with your male side of the family to prove he's a real man and can take slavic habits

had the most fun while (traditionally) stealing shoes
-> Igaguri, Asahi, Zantetsu (refuses to admit it so he won't look stupid), Bachira
accidentally switched places with you while dancing Belgijka and then had to dance with random family members of yours. became the next dancing target of the uncle
A/N: inspired by those 2 events where octavinelle members weren't exactly sure what a dog looks like. also, I had no idea for the title so it's "is there cheese in the great beyond?" originally.

man he's in love.
he loves animals for sure and your dog definitely isn't excluded. if anything, he loves it even more.
brings new toys for it every time he visits. hell, even if he doesn't visit. he might send you some or just bring them randomly on a hangout without the dog for you to give it to the furry companion later.
may have more photos of your dog than he has of himself
requires taking the dog for a walk every time you two go out
if it has long fur/hair, he definitely wanted to give it a haircut once. if you allowed or not is up to you

strangely REALLY on guard around it?

will pet it if it's near tho
the dog is the same for some reason?

they're either best friends or hate each other, nothing in between
and it usually switches up daily depending on their mood.
especially if floyd wants some of your attention but the dog is taking it allll to itself
might get on all four and challenge the dog
apart from that, pretty chill
has stickers of the dog to react to your messages
and literally for every single situation.
and man, after he learnt that the dogs are able to swim it's over for you
even worse if your dog enjoys swimming. they're now having weekly hangouts at the beach without you

y'all remember how he was having a conversation with Lucius?
he does the same with your dog
partially to learn more about you but also because if the dog is your family member, he has to earn it's approval of your relationship
okay not really, he won't move mountains for your dog to like him but he definitely would prefer it if your pet did
bribes it with snacks and toys
doesn't really want to play with it tho. especially if it's drooling and biting a lot
imagine, when azul is already somewhat comfortable around you in his merfolk form, you convince him to teach you how to swim.
and, when you're finally doing pretty well, you start asking him to race with you.
at first he's unsure about that. as we all know, not only he isn't the fastest swimmer, nor he enjoys it a lot, but also his bullies used to chase him and poke fun at him quite a lot.
but you're not one of his bullies, are you? and you're not the best swimmer yourself yet. so after a bit of begging and convincing, he finally agrees.
and, sevens, how good it is he agreed and how much amusement it brought him. you just started learning, obviously you're gonna be horrible! and he seemed to swim so fast compared to you, it might've healed his inner child a bit. especially if you praise him afterwards for putting up a good challenge.
A/N: this idea came up to me while listening to "freaks". and, not to say anything, but I surprisingly have a lot of motivation to write recently??? even if it's short.

WRONGGGG you're cursed for 24 hours.
might as well just take care of you, it's not like his unfamiliar with fish whatsoever
and so, he put you in an aquarium in mostro lounge, in his office. just in case. you never know who might try to eat you, not knowing - or knowing - this fish right here isn't a snack but you.
quite unsure how to hold a conversation with you or tend to your needs properly since you can't speak. are you even sentient right now?
well, if you are, he'll try to create some kind of communication between you two. maybe you can jump and flip in the water twice if you agree on something?
if you're misbehaving he threatens you with floyd.
how can a fish even misbehave? did you splash water on his desk or something?
anyways, if you aren't, that's maybe a bit better. at least he won't get flustered as much by your constant staring.

definitely does this "I have to take my fish out for a walk" thing and thinks it's hilarious
it is
but back on track, he put you in an aquarium, then on a skateboard and tried to walk like that around the campus
apparently it wasn't his best idea, it's pretty hard to pull a skateboard upstairs. even worse if it trips on a rock lying on the sidewalk.
which happened btw
it was probably the first time you saw floyd panicking so badly
he immediately threw you into a random guy's bottle of water
besides that, he was a pretty good caretaker??
he has his issues but you still left unscratched and might've even enjoy it.

while walking around the campus with you in an aquarium, he kept pretending to trip and almost drop you.
you swear you saw your old world and the sevens at least six times that day
if you somehow manage to complain to him about how bored you are, he might suggest swimming in the nearest water reservoir
if he's in the mood and it's deep enough, he might turn into his merfolk form you swim around and protect you from bigger fishes or other predators
if not, he'll ask you to stay near the shore so he can still keep an eye on you. if you don't listen, he'll just grab you and throw you back into the aquarium.
might make you watch how he cooks fish while preparing dishes at mostro longue
just to make sure you're not too bored

well, hopefully. if there's some rule on the campus that forbids you from entering the sea then, even though disappointed, he has to follow.
in that case, he'll go on a mission to create the best aquarium for you. get you the rocks, fauna, whatever
maybe even another fish companion if he manages to catch one
definitely shows you off to other students talking about how pretty your tail and scales are
took at least 90 photos of you, maybe even somehow got a professional camera to be able to capture your beauty to a T before you change back into your regular form.
if he is able to leave the campus tho, that's another story
he'll make sure to show you all the best places in the coral sea
might accidentally go too fast and lose you. he'll quickly go back to search for you tho!
buuut he also might accidentally mistake another fish of the same kind for you...
"maybe a trial first!! a tiny trial? a tiny little trial?" you try to convince riddle, putting on your best puppy eyes and a bit high-pitched voice.
in front of you, there are your two troublemaker friends, collared, kneeling before the two of you, but mainly their housewarden, who's "judging" them for breaking the rules. again.
next to you, your lover stands tall - well, as tall as his height allows - firm with the punishment.
but, naturally, he takes your opinion under consideration, even if it's biased. and, with a sigh, he's pretty quick to answer;
"alright. a tiny trial it is."
yeah, you'll make sure deuce and ace thank you properly after that. as for now, you'll hold the gavel tightly in your grip, enjoying the trial as much as you can without riddle asking you to leave because of your behaviour.
opens the doors for you, hands you stuff you reached out for, helps you tie your shoes and fixes your jewellery if it's crooked. small things, easy to overlook, but how important and loved it makes you feel.
prepares your dishes personally. and, after entering the relationship, for free. however, before the two of you got together, your dishes were permanently on a discount.
★Riddle Rosehearts
you shouldn't lift a finger on an unbirthday party. or any party. scratch that, in any circumstances. so, whenever your plate is empty and you want to try something more, he's always the one serving you. and don't even try to object, it's only natural he does that for you and shouldn't be any other way.
would love to gift you a bouquet of roses, but unfortunately, he can't pick the roses from his dorm's garden. and there's no florist's nearby. so once a week, he goes out of his way to pick flowers around the campus and make a bouquet himself. or if sam sells some, he'll get you one.
★Idia Shroud
your favourite snacks are always stocked in his room. and if he ever somehow runs out of them, he's quick to send ortho to get some more for you. or, if you somehow convince him, he MAAAY go out of his way and go buy some with you.
carries you in games the two of you play. he might tease you for that or complain, but he doesn't actually hate it and would do it again. will do it again.
★Cater Diamond
makes playlists for you. for every occasion, relaxing, cooking etc. but mainly to express his emotions towards you without vulnerably saying it out loud.
but don't get me wrong, he verbally expresses his love quite a lot too. however, actions speak louder than words - which may also be seen in how he always makes sure to take at least 3 candid photos of you. both for him to admire and for you to have something pretty to post.
★Kalim Al-Asim
definitely big on gift giving but after learning you prefer diy more than bought gifts, you're getting both now. he decided to master the trait of handcraft but also he loves gifting you expensive jewellery or whatever you looked at for too long at the store!
allows himself to eat the snacks or dishes you prepared without jamil trying it first. this is a sign of trust from him, he just hopes it's obvious he trusts you more than others.
★Ace Trappola
you don't necessarily have to know this, but he protects your name when you're absent. someone trying to poke fun at you? well, not around him! you helped him and others so many times, even in life or death situations, and someone still has the courage to speak bad about you? he's more than quick to confront them about it, no matter who that is.
tries to act "cool" around you but then likes and shares your posts/stories, reposts about you and sometimes might brag a bit to his friends. just to be a total asshole later in person.
also honestly I didn't expect so many ppl to enjoy my smau, it felt pretty boring, short and maybe a bit rushed to me?? but I'm glad y'all liked it♥️♥️

no, he's not 100% oblivious to the point where everyone has to do everything for him since he doesn't know how to. he's not totally incapable of everything just because he's a bubbly character and I think it was proven already a couple of times in the story.
also, people tend to erase his whole backstory. bro was kidnapped and almost died plenty of times. we can even see in the story or when we put his dormcard on the home screen that sometimes this happy personality is some kind of a copying mechanism and he's holding back with expressing his worries.
to cut it short, I HATE kalim mischaractization and watering him down to a complete baby that can't do anything alone and doesn't even know what 2+2 is
