My Favorite Scenes Season 1 Edition 😍

Background: Love 101 focuses on a group of misfits who are trying to save themselves from getting kicked out of school. Their teacher Burcu has always been the one who protected them, but now that she’s moving now they’re sure to get expelled. So they hatch a plan to fix Mrs Burcu up with a guy so she’ll stay. The group enlists the help of goody goody Isik and together they pick Kemal the new gym teacher to be her man.

The Men’s Bathroom 

This is the incident that kicks off the romance these two are locked in a bathroom stall at a rock concert by Sinan! Now it’s just the two of them no distractions! But it gets pretty awkward when a couple comes in and starts having sex in the stall next door! S1 EP 2 ~ 26:01

Drunken Stupor 

After they’re freed from the stall, Kemal gives Burcu a ride home. Kemal comes in and they tea, Burcu Drinks a bit and they talk. They have fun but once it’s time for bed Burcu is too drunk so Kemal helps her to bed. He lies her down and she holds on to him begging him not to leave and he “promises” not to. S1 EP 3 ~ 8:32

I think she likes me 

Kemal asks Burcu how she’s is since he hasn’t seen her for a bit. Burcu completely dismissed this and Kema who seems a bit hurt says that she’s right as always. Burcu ask what he means and they share a stare. This is Mr Refik cue to leave and once he does Kemal approaches Burcu. He again asks how she is and gets really close to her and caresses her hand. The chemistry is 🔥. S1 EP 4 ~ 18:17

She definitely likes him 

Surprise! Burcu is engaged and her fiancé Tuncay has come to stay with her before their wedding. So what now? Well, while she goes home to Tuncay at night and is basically a live in maid she she spends her days with Kemal having so much fun and failing in love. You can tell she is so conflicted between what her family wants and what she actually wants. This scene is a flash between her two environments one where she shines and one where she compromises. S1 EP 5 ~ 25:00

Burcu finally dumps Tuncay and it’s one of the most empowering moments in the show. Burcu is so opinionated and strong in her beliefs and autonomy but she’s been acting like a little house wife all to keep Tuncay happy. In this scene when she’s made up her mind to break up she says everything she thinks and when he isn’t respecting her decision she pushes him out the door. I know this isn’t a Kemal and Burcu Scene but it’s important because Kemal was a catalyst in iliciting this change in her. She did this because she wants to be with him someone who sees her and loves her for who she is. S1 EP 7 ~ 1:10

 Why not me

Kemal tells Burcu how much he admires her and loves. He asks why she would be with this other guy and not him. He says he’ll do anything to be with her. He just wants her to choose him. He doesn’t know she dumped her fiancé. Kemal asks her to “let him spend his life” with her and Burcu says yes. After ward they’re giddy and it’s so sweet! Then they Kiss AHHHHH S1 EP 8 ~ 11:06

This is real 

Burcu found out about the whole plan to set up her and Kemal. So confused and feeling like it was all a lie, Burcu packs her things and as she loading her things in a taxi Kemal arrives. Burcu ask him if their love is real? He asks her what she’s thinks and kisses her. S1 EP 8 ~ 39:52
