Hey. If people aren't aware, Microsoft admitted they know who you and where you are at all times and will give your info to the police.
They have a Global Device Identifier (GDID) Tracker that functions as a fingerprint for your PC that can surpass VPNs, proxy servers and countries. Although it can't survive a clean reinstall of Windows (it can survive updates), because Microsoft forces you to go to the internet and log in into a Microsoft account, they will be able to get to you.
Microsoft kept it secret and it was only found out when the FBI tracked a hacker thanks to the information Microsoft gave them.
You should be paying attention to this, and possibly consider moving away from Windows. If a government, especially the US government, doesn't like you for some reason, this could be seriously concerning.

Apple’s advertising identifier needs an App Tracking Transparency prompt and a visible reset; Android’s works the same way. Then there’s activation. Massgrave, the group behind Microsoft Activation Scripts, notes that Windows setup sends hardware info to Microsoft and gets identifiers back, the same tokens later used for Store access and licensing: “It’s impossible to prevent Windows from getting a GDID without breaking activation and UWP app[s].” Anyone who lost a license after swapping a motherboard has already met a smaller version of this.

Please sign that petition if you can, this bill is worse than it seems. Its primary purpose is to exclude trans women from women's spaces, including bathrooms, prisons, homeless shelters, and sports. It also cements transphobic, intersexist, and acephobic beliefs that are already somewhat present in Australia's law.
It is worth noting that this bill is being pushed by the National party, one of Australia's main right-wing parties. The party currently in power is the Labour party, our biggest left-wing/centrist party. The party pushing for this bill does not have the votes needed to pass it, and thus either needs to convince centrists to agree with them or are doing this to curry favour for the next election or some other goal.
When it comes to the bill itself, they are defining anything relating to one's sex in terms of the sex binary in a way which excludes intersex people in many ways. They also are changing the definition of sexual attraction, and the main change this makes is an exclusion of non-binary people in attraction. However, it is also worded so a trans woman lesbian is considered straight, and their definition also doesn't properly include asexual people. Those wording issues are already present in the original law, however.
They are also explicitly stating that it's okay to discriminate against transfems in women's spaces of any kind, including prisons, bathrooms, homeless shelters, and sports. That is the main change being pushed for.

I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!

Hey y'all. Bad news. Google is getting worse in a very short amount of time. If you haven't already heard, starting July of this year, 2026, Samsung messages will officially close. And they are all pushing android users to download a google messaging app... that isn't great because Google and Israel are in bed together. They have a 1.2 billion dollar contract with google to monitor messaging.
And in September of this year google is rolling out an update that will nonconsensually block every Android app whose developer hasn't registered with Google, signed their contract, paid up, and handed over government ID. The author cites an estimate from the Palestinian Center for the Missing and Forcibly Disappeared that 2,900 children "disappeared during the war", with 2,700 bodies thought to be trapped under the rubble and the remaining 200 simply missing.
Such statistics are in keeping with the modus operandi of the Israeli military, which, according to the official fatality count, has killed more than 72,500 Palestinians in Gaza since the launch of the genocide in 2023, with thousands more still missing and presumed dead under the rubble.

Speaking of disappearances, an Al Jazeera Arabic investigation revealed in February that at least 2,842 Palestinians had "evaporated" in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war - a phenomenon Gaza's civil defence teams attribute to Israel's use of US-manufactured thermal and thermobaric weapons, which effectively "vaporise" human bodies.
The gruesome tally was quickly eclipsed by the deranged US-Israeli war on Iran and wider regional catastrophe, which has monopolised the news for the past two months. But the topic remains as sinisterly relevant as ever.
In remarks to Al Jazeera at the time, civil defence spokesperson Mahmoud Basal outlined the process for determining the number of vaporised victims at homes targeted by Israeli strikes: "If a family tells us there were five people inside, and we only recover three intact bodies, we treat the remaining two as 'evaporated' only after an exhaustive search yields nothing but biological traces - blood spray on walls or small fragments like scalps."

"I looked for them a million times. Not a piece was left. Where did they go?"
Now, with regional war raging as the arms industry rakes in big bucks, it has become even easier for global audiences to tune out the unique plight of the Palestinians - which means that the genocide is effectively being disappeared from the spotlight, as well.
In the end, of course, the Israeli goal is nothing less than to forcibly disappear the very idea of a Palestinian people. But unfortunately for Israel, its blood-drenched legacy will not be so easily concealed.

If someone says something that you know to be wrong, say something. Push back on it. Iran didn't start this war. They haven't been at war with the US for forty seven years. The US didn't have to support Israel's strikes with this kind of escalation (we haven't in the past, in fact Trump hasn't in the past). The Iranian people are not looking to the US as liberators. The Strait of Hormuz was always going to be used tactically in this way, it is absurd to suggest that the Iran would open it because it is the single best method of leverage they have to resist annihilation from a superpower. Bombing civilian infrastructure is a war crime. Saying that an entire culture will be destroyed is genocidal.
There is no moral reason for the US to do this, the reasons that the US is doing this are oil and to destabilize the region. Hubris, cruelty, and a vile old man who wants to give himself a hero's legacy play a part as well.
You should be saying out loud to the people around you "This war is unjust, unnecessary, and cruel, and every reason our leaders are giving us to tell us why we're doing it is a lie."
People should know you feel this way. Some people will feel the same way, and it will be good for you and for them to know that you're not alone. Some people will NOT feel this way and it will be good for them to know that there are people all around them who haven't bought into the violent propaganda of empire.
There is no justification for bombing water and power infrastructure for ninety million people; that will kill thousands of civilians and is a war crime.
Iran was bombed while they were negotiating with the countries that bombed them; they were willing to make the agreements requested by the US and Israel before they were bombed.
The Strait was open in February. If the US and Israel hadn't attacked Iran there would have been no reason for Iran to close it.
You can't be an "imminent threat" for forty seven years, so either Trump is lying about the immanency or is lying about Iran being at war with us for half a century.
The judge is a far-right Trump appointee so this is a horrible but unsurprising miscarriage of justice. This is a case meant to criminalize all antifascist and left-wing protest in the USA as terrorism, and should be a huge wake-up call for any person in the USA.
