What size are the images in your lockets/do you have a template, mine got slightly water damaged on accident :c

here is the template i made / use:

once printed and cut out, they measure somewhere around 0.56 x 0.57 inches. i also laminate both sides to make them a little more durable, but you could use clear packing tape instead.

if you are unable to make one yourself, feel free to shoot me a message on etsy with your order info and i could send replacement images (no locket) in an envelope for the price of shipping a sticker :3

i'm having a bit of a conundrum with these heart keychains and need some feedback:

i really enjoy making these, but i cannot for the LIFE of me find a seller that consistently sends good quality parts. do you guys love these enough for me to keep looking, or should i come up with something new..?

i have tried different sites, multiple different sellers, but alas, 50%-85% of the blanks are always scratched up or otherwise unusable by the time they arrive. if it was just a few, i could manage, but when MOST are damaged, it's not really worth it for me to keep purchasing them :/

update: yesterday etsy suspended my store of 5 years.

i am actively trying to get it back, but i don't have many options and support doesn't really seem to care. i will be moving my shop elsewhere regardless, so if you are interested in my stuff, there will be a new storefront open somewhere else soon.

all outstanding orders will still be finished btw, just obviously heartbroken over this and trying to actually reach someone over there and find out what can be done :(

update 2: my store is back

they reinstated my store, but only AFTER i posted on my socials about it and they saw + replied. the fact they could take my livelihood away on a whim was enough to scare me into finally making the jump to another platform however- i do NOT want to deal with their horrid support ever again 💀

once i decide where i want to move my store, i'll post another update for you guys and hopefully will be able to move my business away from etsy in the near future 👍

unsure how many people who order from my store actually follow me, but wanted to provide an update on me and order delays:

(tw: medical issues, abuse mention below the cut)

for the past few months, i've been ill, unable to keep food in me, and trying to get a diagnosis. doctors have brushed me off or lied about referring me, only to end up in the ER and later finding out they'd never even written it down. i feel completely and utterly drained even upon waking up.

i am currently stuck living with abusive parents in a bigoted rural town bc i was lied to & manipulated into moving back in, and am now trapped until i can save up enough to move again. my only income is my store. my arts degree is useless here- no one wants to hire someone who is visibly gay/trans here.

i have been desperately trying to stay afloat despite my declining health/mental health, so a lot of orders have been piling up, especially as we get closer to the holidays. i'm sorry to anyone who's been waiting for their order for a while- i am trying to get through them and your support still means the whole fucking world to me, especially during a time like this.

art is what i love and want to continue doing indefinitely. i would like to sell more of my original pieces on my store, but don't have the energy to set that up right now. i also do art commissions, but truthfully cannot guarantee i could work on it anytime soon.
