Starts off with head-canons then ends it off with a cute little story! I hope that this meets your expectations, I tried, not very good at writing wedding stuffs.

-I feel Michael wouldn't want to have a big celebration, because i see him as awkward in areas full of people.

-if you wanted a celebration tho i feel he wouldn’t mind, he would just ask it to be kinda small, not too crazy.

-if you agree with no big wedding you could have more of a party after! No need to dress in an uncomfy suit/dress

-regardless of a party or full on wedding it would be small, no rented out venue, it would be held at LUX

-Lucifer definitely tried to help with any planning for the party/wedding, hence why it would be held at LUX regardless of what you plan to do.

y/n had been driving the car to LUX after they married Michael, the car was filled with a calm silence. As y/n drove Michael mostly stared out the window, a soft smile on his face as he was lost in thought.

They soon arrived at LUX and exited the car and walked into the building, y/n looked at Michael and saw his smile, they playfully nudged him, “what’s got you smiling?” they jokingly say as Michael smiles wider, they have now entered the elevator. “Oh nothing, just happy” Michael had a gleam in his eyes as he spoke, gazing lovingly at y/n . y/n's own smile widened in response as the elevator doors opened and revealed to them the small party being held for them in Lucifer’s club, and Lucifer standing right there, “Well look who's finally made it! Took you lovebirds long enough to get here!” he jested as y/n and Michael stepped out and were now being led by Lucifer to where all of their friends were sitting. “Guys, the newlyweds have arrived!” Lucifer announced to the group at the table, y/n and Michael are now seated as everyone started to congratulate them on their marriage. 

It had now been a few hours into the party and everybody was having fun, playing drinking games and whatnot, but Michael had left for the balcony to get some fresh air from all the excitement, y/n noticed and gave him a few minutes before leaving to check up on him.

As Michael was standing on the balcony he was thinking, as he was lost in thought he began to worry about what could happen in the future. When y/n joined him on the balcony he didn’t notice their presence until they leaned against the railing next to him, “What's on your mind cutie?” Michael smiled at y/n's words, but his face soon changed into a more serious one, “just thinking,” “about?” there was a pause, “... you” He said, y/n smiled warmly and said “good things i hope?” Michaels facial expression softened, he looked less serious now, brows not furrowed, more calm. “I feel… scared, scared about what will happen in the future. All of the things that could happen.” Michael said, y/n was silent before he responded, “don’t be scared about the future, we cross that bridge when we get there, for now, enjoy the present.” Michael was smiling again, taking in his partner’s words. “Yeah, I know, I just can't help it because you've been so nice to me since the first time I met you,” he paused. “Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve your kindness, I've done a lot of bad things.” y/n sighed, “I know what you've done, Lucifer told me all about it before I met you,” Michael’s demeanor changed as he stiffened up, feeling more awkward. “But regardless of the over-dramatized version I heard from Lucifer, I still wanted to get to know you, and I still love you, Michael.” y/n smiled at Michael, he was less rigid now, gazing at y/n. He leaned down and gave y/n a kiss. “I love you…” he muttered against y/n's lips, y/n smiled into the kiss, “love you too, you goof” Michael pulled back and chuckled, pulling y/n against himself and holding him there, “wanna go back inside?” y/n asked, “just a few more minutes.” Michael said.

The Painting

Where the reader is an artist and makes an emotional piece of Michael after one of the many times they saw his wings, this is pretty cheesy and a tad sickeningly sweet, ENJOY!!

Y/n was in their art studio that was kept in the basement of their shared home, they were making a painting of their handsome lover, Michael, and made him the centerpiece after seeing his wings recently. They were sitting on the idea for it for a while feeling nervous about it but they finally decided to work on and perfect the piece. As Y/n was working on it for the first hour they pondered on what Michael would think about it, they hoped they would have it finished in time for their anniversary the next day, and give it to him as a gift, Y/n loved making things for the people they cared about. Their favorite music playing in the background as they started to paint out the form of Michael, saving room for his outstretched wings, deemed ‘flawed’ and ‘imperfect’ by Michael but Y/n saw him as beautiful and wanted to capture the beauty they saw in their lover in their work, the basic detailing of Michael’s body was done, Y/n moved on to basic detail and patterning of his wings, making sure to capture every single detail he memorized by heart.

As they continued the painting they kept to using varying shades of grey but adding pops of color, shades of blue and matching colors that made them think of Michael, as they added more and more detail to their soon-to-be masterpiece, Y/n took a second to glance at the time, a few hours had passed from when they started, Y/n glanced at the painting, feeling happy with the progress, it still lacked a lot more detail, darkened shadows and whisps of light, but nonetheless, it looked amazing. With that in mind, Y/n felt like it was time for a much-needed break, the paint on their palette was almost gone so it was the perfect stopping point. Putting the used materials aside, Y/n grabbed a tarp to cover the painting with, making sure it didn’t touch the still-wet paint before it got dry enough, grabbing the used brushes, water cup, and palette, Y/n brought them upstairs to clean off before deeming one-hundred percent finished for the day. Once they reached the kitchen and cleaned off the utensils he left those to dry in the empty dish rack, heading to the living room after and spotting Michael on the couch, mindlessly scrolling through his phone, Y/n smiled and moved to sit next to him, leaning into Michael’s left side, Michael wordlessly moved his arm to wrap it around Y/n and pull them closer, leaning his head on top of Y/n. Y/n sighed deeply, needing this affection after being so busy for the past few hours, Michael soon began to speak no too long after. “You must be working hard on that painting huh? you look exhausted.” Y/n snickered at Michael’s observation, it was true they were working really hard on it, putting their love and adoration for Michael into that piece, hoping with every fiber of their being that he would love it. “Yeah, It’s something I’ve been wanting to work on for a while, I just needed the right… inspiration.” Y/n replied, still leaning comfortably into Michael’s side, “Well I can’t wait to see it when it’s done.” Michael said, looking down at Y/n as he smiled, Y/n looked up at Michael and smiled back, Michael leaned in and gave Y/n a quick peck on the lips.

Y/n and Michael enjoyed the rest of the day in each other's company, whether it was watching shows or movies, to playing some games together, Y/n had a laugh teaching Michael to play videogames like Minecraft or animal crossing and is proud to say that they did a good job at teaching him how to play. After they were done playing games and hanging out the couple crawled into bed together and drifted off to sleep, well, at least Y/n did, Michael couldn’t sleep, he wanted to see what Y/n had been working on that he didn’t want him to see yet, he didn’t want to snoop and ruin the surprise, he knew it was something for him, and for their anniversary, he wouldn’t forget something like that, so he kept trying all night to fall asleep but just couldn’t. By the time it was morning, Michael hadn’t gotten an ounce of sleep.

When Y/n woke, Michael was asleep, normally he was awake first but he must have been exhausted so Y/n let him sleep in, deciding to get up and continue work on the painting. Crawling out of the shared bed to head to the kitchen and grab the supplies they cleaned off the day before, heading downstairs and into the basement they unveiled the half-finished painting and began the routine they took before they started painting, playing their music a lot quieter this time so as not to wake Michael, and continued their work. Looking at the painting, Y/n pictured more of what they wanted to add, the painting was a view of Michael’s back, his head slightly turned to the left, facing his undamaged wing, both wings spread wide, the canvas was rather large, Y/n continued to add more details to the wings, deeming Michael’s body and head well detailed already, maybe a few more details in the hair but that’s it. They did their best to make his wings look as treasured as they should be, deciding to add some beautiful shades of gold in the highlighted areas of feathers, mixing beautifully into the detail of the dark feathers, adding some of that gold into his hair as well, Y/n thought that the piece was missing something more. Y/n took a piece of paper off of their desk and crumpled it up, using it on a test piece of canvas so as not to ruin what they were doing, they decided they didn't like that and tested a more splatter effect on the spare canvas, they liked that more and globbed a mix of dark blue and black onto a big brush and splattered that onto the canvas edges, the blue and black blended nicely and really finished the piece. Y/n deemed the painting done and added his signature and the date onto the back, along with a little message for Michael, “Your flaws are what make you perfect to me.” Y/n read it over and thought it sounded cheesy, but the words were true, Michael was perfect to Y/n. Y/n covered it up, and it was perfect timing too, it was the day of their anniversary, the door to the basement had opened and Michael started to descend the stairs, Y/n already covered up the painting, and turned off their music, “Y/n, come on upstairs and eat some breakfast.” Michael said when he reached the bottom of the stairs, Y/n ran up to Michael and gave him a good-morning kiss, even though it was almost noon, and followed him up the stairs and into the kitchen, “So how's your little project coming along?” Michael asked as he handed Y/n some breakfast, Y/n gladly took it and sat down in their seat, “I finished it not too long ago,” Y/n responded, taking a few bites of their food, Michael doing the same, they ate in silence, happily enjoying the silent company, the window above the sink was open and you could hear the sound of birds chirping and the wind rustling the leaves, it was rare when they would just sit and eat without talking to each other the whole time. Finsihing their food they did the dishes together and got ready for another comfy day in their home. It wasn’t too long after they were ready for their days that Y/n bolted into the basement and grabbed the painting, wrapped in the cloth that was hiding it from view, and brought it upstairs to finally show Michael their hard work.

Once they had ascended the stairs they immediately found Michael sitting on the couch in the living room, he was looking for something to watch on the tv, as some random show or movie played in the background as he searched. Y/n walked up to Michael from behind the couch and rested their chin on top of his head, the painting behind their back at this point. “Heyyyyyyy,” Y/n said, Michael smiled and stopped his searching, and placed the remote down next to him, moving his head to look at Y/n, who had a huge smile on their face. Y/n removed the covered painting from behind their back and handed it to Michael, waiting for him to take it from their hands, as Michael took the painting he began to uncover it and revealed his lovers' handiwork. Once Michael fully removed the paintings cover he was shocked by what he saw on the canvas, he didn’t know what he was expecting, but it wasn’t this, his heart was swelling, even though Michael had a bad self-image due to his injury, he was happy that his lover thought he looked amazing enough to paint in that light, Michael went to put it down when Y/n said, “turn it around!” Michael did just that and was surprised by the cute little comment on the back, “That's so cheesy,” Michael chuckled, Y/n laughed a bit too, “I know, but hey, it’s true.” Michael set down the painting and pulled Y/n in for a kiss.

(y/n) was returning home from a long day of work, excited to finally get to properly relax with their boyfriend there beside them. (y/n) opened the door to their home, stepped inside, and while closing the door, found it oddly quiet. Michael was never really loud, unlike his brother, but it was never this quiet. (y/n) assumed that Michael might've been asleep, removed their shoes, and headed for their shared bedroom to check, when they opened the door they found Michael, wings out and curled into a ball on their bed, pitifully trying to hide from view. (y/n) could barely see his busted-up wing or the side of his face with the scar. (y/n) slowly started to walk toward Michael and softly talk to him, "Mikey, love, are you alright?" all that they got in response was a small whimper, (y/n) got closer to the bed, and sat down at the edge of the bed, "Michael, is everything okay?" (y/n) asked again, Michael revealed a little more of his face, "poor baby, you look so stressed," (y/n) said, slowly moving their hand and reaching out to touch Michael's face, when (y/n) made contact he flinched slightly, this made (y/n) worry more, "would you like to talk about it love?" (y/n) waited for a response, and what they got was Michael reaching for the hand on his face and softly grabbing it and gently pushing his face deeper into (y/n)'s hand. (y/n) averted their eyes from Michael's face and looked at the rest of him, he still looked very tense and distraught, (y/n) felt their heart clench at the pathetic state of their lover and asked, "is it alright if I help you relax?" Michael opened his eyes and looked at (y/n), his eyes made (y/n)'s heart shatter a little bit. Michael's eyes were watery with tears, Michael finally spoke, a soft and simple question, "how?" god, even his voice sounded pathetic and raw like he had been crying for hours. "Well it really depends on what you feel most comfortable with right now, would you like me to lay here and run my hands through your hair? Take a warm bath? Or maybe even let me stroke your wings? Or anything else you think of." (y/n) spoke softly, it was ironic how heavenly their voice sounded to Michael.(y/n) noticed how Michael's wings fluttered a little at the mention of being gently touched, "I think I would like you to touch my wings." Michael said, "alright, how about you lay on your stomach or whatever feels most comfortable for you?" (y/n) suggested, Michael moved from the position he was currently in and laid down on his stomach, wings folded against him, his right busted wing not so much as the left one. (y/n) moved closer to Michael and gently began to run their fingers over Michael's soft feathers.

As (y/n) ran their fingers over Michael's wings they would give praise for how soft and beautiful his wings were, making Michael feel like putty under his love's gentle touch. (y/n)'s actions continued for a while, Michael was so close to falling asleep, he felt better than he was earlier, now craving to hold his love before he fell asleep, Michael spoke up, "(y/n), can you go change into your pajamas?" (y/n) stopped their movements and said "alright, you're ready to go to sleep?" as (y/n) moved to get up Michael let out a hum of acknowledgment. While (y/n) was changing out of their daily clothes and into their favorite sleepwear, Michael retracted his wings and crawled under the cover, and waited for (y/n) to join him. As (y/n) crawled into bed and joined Michael, he immediately grabbed (y/n) and pulled them tightly to his chest, and nuzzled into him, (y/n) responded by curling into their lovers' arms and they soon fell into a peaceful sleep.

y/n woke up from their peaceful sleep wearing their boyfriend, Michael’s, turtleneck sweater. It was oversized on the smaller person, their much taller boyfriend loved seeing them in his sweaters, whenever Michael saw y/n wearing one of his sweaters he would become extremely bashful and red in the face, y/n loved the sight of him all blushy.

As y/n started to wake up they noticed the gentle pitter-patter of the rain, they looked out the window to the right of the bed, on the other side of Michael, and saw the rain, it wasn't quite a gentle sprinkle, it was a bit rougher than a sprinkle, but not quite pouring rain. y/n yawned and stretched, being mindful of Michael’s sleeping form next to them. y/n lay there and admired how peaceful he looked while asleep, he looked so calm, his normally tensed-up features relaxed. y/n had a soft smile on their face and wondered if it would be worth it to risk waking up Michael just to get closer to his warmth. That's when y/n realized the chill in the air, their nose was colder than usual and they felt sleep trying to pull them back in, y/n decided to risk it and snuggled into their boyfriend’s side, their nose warming almost immediately. Michael shifted and turned over, facing y/n, and wrapped them in his warm arms, one thing that always differentiated Michael from his twin was how warm he was. His twin Lucifer, also known as Samael or Sammy, was normally on the colder side when it came to body temperature. The warmth provided by Michael fully pulled y/n back into the comforting peace of sleep.

y/n stirred and awoke due to the movement of their boyfriend next to them, they made a whiny noise before huffing and opening their eyes to see their boyfriend’s beautiful brown eyes sleepily gazing into their own (eye color) eyes, Michael smiled softly upon noticing y/n’s gaze and leaned in to give his partner a peck on the tip of their nose, y/n scrunched their nose up and closed their eyes, when Michael pulled away, y/n opened their eyes again and looked at Michael as he muttered a ‘mornin, love’ to y/n, they smiled and replied back “morning, how did you sleep?” after y/n snuggled their head under Michaels, digging their nose into their love’s neck and giving it a gentle peck there. It was silent for a moment before Michael replied to his love’s question, “I slept well, thank you. What about you?” y/n was quiet for a moment before replying, enjoying the peace, “that’s good, *YAWN* I always sleep well when I’ve got you to cuddle into.” they heard Michael let out a little chuckle at y/n’s wording and replied with “That’s sweet, I’m actually able to sleep peacefully next to you.” y/n moved his head away from underneath Michael’s and looked at his face, y/n always thought that Michael looked handsome, even if Michael thought he didn’t deserve all of this love he got, it still made him smile and feel wanted. After a few more moments of silence, y/n leaned in towards the right side of Michael’s face and kissed the rough patch of skin that is their boyfriend’s scar, which stemmed from the middle of his forehead down past the right side of his nose and ending in the middle of his right cheek, down closer to his lips, and just under his nose was where y/n kissed. When y/n pulled away and looked back at Michael, they noticed the small blush that flew over his cheeks.

After who knows how long the pair have been awake, just looking at eachother lovingly, sharing kisses, and talking very little in the peace of their room and in each other. That said peace was interrupted by none other than Lucifer, he barged into their room, Michael groaned at his brother's intrusion. “Wakey wakey you two, it’s almost noon,” Lucifer said, reaching to pull y/n out of bed. Michael reacted before anyone could realize and suddenly y/n was wrapped in a flurry of dark feathers, Michael’s wings had engulfed y/n to keep him from his brother’s grasp. y/n looked back to their boyfriend and the look in his eyes was dangerous and aimed at Lucifer, “Right, you know what, you guys can just stay in bed as long as you want!” and with that Lucifer swiftly left the room, leaving y/n and Michael back to the peaceful quietness of their shared bedroom.
