One the funniest scenes to me in a Swedish kids show is in Emil i Lönneberga where the main character Emil is going to throw away some cherries his mom has used to make wine, and he eats some himself and also feeds it to all the farm animals. ALL of them get drunk.

All the hens pass out from the intoxicated cherries and thus they think they’re dead. And the funniest scene is where the maid has to go inside to tell the family the news about finding their little boy drunk with the farm animals

Translation:

”The hens are either way dead.”

”What?! The hens dead??”

”And… the rooster is drunk.”

”Drunk?”

”And… the piggy is… drunk… and what’s with Emil…”

”Yes?”

”Emil is…”

”Yes, what about Emil?!”

”… is also drunk.”
