Allowing a sigh to elude subtle lips, slender dactyls enwrapped the handle of the fragile cup, that the burning liquor of Blue-Eyes Mountain coffee was poured inside. Intoxicated by the inhalation of its odor, and with a sterling curve tugged upwards on his face, he brought the inanimate object upon his brim. Letting the liquid to run through his throat for a brief moment, thereupon he separated the cup from his flesh. Luxuriating moments of quietude, with the corner of his eyes, he acknowledged a familiar figure approximating him. And it didn’t took him much to realize who this personage was. Hence the nonchalant expression that masculine visage unveiled.
“—- What is it”
She just scooted into that chair opposite of him, his biggest annoyance and that was okay right? "What I can't come see you?" she asked offering him a gentle, easy smile. Carly knew she wasn't really wanted around him, but she couldn't help it, he meant everything to her.
"Jack, maybe I'm imagining it, but you seem tired... Are you feeling alright?" Sweet little Nagisa so worried for the man she had fallen so deeply in love with.

— “Nah I’m fine. Weeks been rough lately - I’ve passed out more tickets than I like to admit, a few crashes happened and then I took a tumble from my D-Wheel. Which, I didn’t dislocate my arm this time.” he grinned,remembering his pre-WGRP tumble. “Luca was on me the time I hurt my arm - and she still gets on me when I get a new bruise or sprain something.” He smiled,thinking about his friend. She was the one who nagged him into taking care of himself, along with Jack and the others. Crow wasn’t known for his care for himself.
"Crow!" she scolded lightly. "You really should take better care of yourself!" she snapped. But she was worried for him. "Anyway... Thanks for answering my questions. My new story is about former Satellite members and how society treats them." she explained.
"Since I can't seem to get Jack to allow me to interview, this'll be the story that helps me make it big! I've witnessed people being treated harshly myself... I hate it, you guys deserve better."

"Don't be silly! You know my chosen story is on Jack! But truthfully, I suppose I came just to talk. It'd be nice you know, I can buy you some tea somewhere and we can just talk some?"

"I've been alright. Same as ever, really. Trying to get a story that'll actually earn money."
— “Ah well. There was a crash the other day on the high way and I was dispatched to see how things were. The woman who got out of it refused to let me help her son because I have marks on my face - she automatically painted me as a bad guy. Ushio quickly disabused her of that notion when she ranted.” here he grinned. “Ushio said next to Kazuma I was the finest person on the force, and no less dedicated to my job no matter what I did in my past.” he slightly bit his lip so a tear wouldn’t come out.
Honestly, when he heard that from the older man, it took a lot not to cry on the spot, because it was amazing to know that Ushio thought that about him - he wasn’t a punk kid any longer. Later he said that he was happy and pretty proud to have Crow on the police force.
That meant the world to him, so so much. The rest of the night he couldn’t keep the grin off his face.
She couldn't help but smile more at his words, it made her happy to hear others accepted him and trusted him so much.
"It's good to hear others stand up for you, that must make it easier even when life is cruel to you." she stated, reaching out and patting his shoulder.
"Crow..." she switched her PDA off and frowned, "You seem tired... You're not being over-worked are you?" she asked quietly, suddenly worried for the other now.

"Yusei! How have you been?" She was always glad to see the other, they'd never been super close, but she did enjoy when they spoke together.
Cheering for him—it had been a while since anyone had been. Even at the end of the Fortune Cup, it had been Yusei’s name they were all shouting, not his own. Had she really been so steadfastly loyal, or was this just a career move for her? A way to try and get an interview?
"If you give up easily, I definitely won’t give you anything." Jack harrumphed. It wasn’t a yes, but it was much better than an outright no.
She'd always cheered for him, his drive and ambition had made her believe that she too, could accomplish anything she set her mind to do and right now her mind was set on a single story, the story of Jack Atlas.
"I'll never give up! Carly Nagisa won't stop til she gets that story!" she declared, but a smile curved her lips. "But out of respect I will back away a little bit." she added, offering him her hand, a simple hand shake.
"You have a duel soon, right? If you like I can look into your opponet for you. See if they're strong or not." she offered.
— He laughed. “You’re not the first person to ask that,Carly.” a smile crept onto his face.
”Its not to me. I’m keeping people safe in a more legal way. Then, I only hated them because they didn’t know any better. The problem with people is if they see something wrong and they’re told its right by older or more powerful people, they don’t question it.” Crow stopped for a moment.
”Education is a powerful tool, and now most people understand - Satellites are people too. They treat us less like the trash they thought we were and now like people. I’m happy to say I’m keeping the people I love safe, and I get paid for it too!”
”Some people still treat us like trash,however, I won’t deny. A lady the other day hissed at me because of the marks on my face, but I shrugged it off.” he sighed. “Don’t get me started at the looks I get when I go swimming without a shirt on - body markers are the worst of the worst.”
”When they lifted the ban on people with markings from applying to work with the NDPD I was ecstatic. Sure I left for a bit and came back, but I couldn’t be happier.” he turned a little red.
”I’m sorry! I must sound like some sappy idiot - but I’m happy. Happier than I ever was.”
A smile to her lips as she listened, he was so passionate about it and it made her smile. He was so earnest just as he'd always been.
Quickly she wrote down his every word, typing away furiously on a PDA. He'd always worked so hard for what he desired and it turn, seeing their passion made her feel like she could accomplish anything as well.
A frown covered her lips as she heard that her friends were still treated as trash by some, she quickly highlighted that section, she'd ask a follow-up question on that, mhm.
"I bet you're cute though." she teased playfully, referring to his swimming remark before she laughed and nodded at his story.
"A follow-up question, you say you're still treated as trash by some. Would you mind telling me exactly what has been done to you, or things you've witnessed people doing to other former Satellite residents?" she questioned, rapping her fingers against her PDA gently.
Miss Nagisa what would your reaction be if Jack decided he loved another?
{ハチドリ}—;; “I’d be hurt. But I’d support him. What matters is his happiness and I won’t be so selfish as to demand he stay at my side. If he truly loves another, I’d prefer he be happy with somebody else than weighed down by somebody like me.”
Post-Canon plot
Her greatest story she hopes to do an article on... The way people unfairly treat the former members of Satellite. She's seen parts of it with her own eyes and it wounds her because some of her friends are from satellite! So she hopes this story will better their lives just a little bit.
