I wanted to see if i could make my own crochet pattern and design one of the lil chibi fairies from zelda Majoras Mask

And by "make pattern" I mean "wing it and write none of it down and just hope for the best"

I recently got Ara Fell and am really loving it! I'm surprised at how little fanart I've seen. If you like a beautiful and strategic RPG then I highly recommend it! I like the characters, the art design is great, the story keeps surprising me, and its fun! Here's some doodles!

My spouse and I were watching the old Donkey Kong show and then doodles happened~~

I practiced some Candy Kongs first before tryna design my own funny monkey. I need to decide on a name and personality but I'm p sure I'm gonna make her "Funky Kongs Cousin, Cali Kong" and give her a kinda valley girl vibe coz I think that would rule

Also my spouse designed a Kremling scientist, who works for King K.Rool but is honestly just winging it making inventions for his wacky demands, and just hoping it works out 🤣🤣

Have some of my Nerd Girls

The one with spikey bangs and glasses is Candice aka Candi. She likes rocks and building machines

The wavy haired one is Bonnibelle, she wants to build a school

The dark haired elf is Frankie. She is a deadpan troll and ravenous otaku hacker girl

The other elf is Kyr and she resents being called a NERD because that sounds DEROGATORY and BEING LEARNED is NOT A BAD THING

My spouse said "what if Chronicles of Elantra, but Pony" and I was consumed by the Ghost of Ponies Past and cranked out a bunch of doodles

Kaylin and Severn as Earth Ponies of course since they're humans

Marcus is just straight up a lion [SPOILERS FOR BOOK 3] I imagine the Tainted Leontines would transform into Manticores

Aerians are pegasi, pretty obvs as they are basically just winged humans

Teela and other Barrani would be tall and slender and horned like Deerfolk. I didnt wanna make em Unicorns coz not all Barrani are magic users so I feel like with deerfolk they get the taller/slimmer/more majestic than earth Ponies but its a toss up on of their horns are magic or not

And for tha'alani I just went with earthponies with antennae. I'm honestly not sure if I wanna keep it that way tho. I feel like maybe I should make them more bug-like or something, give a good reason for the other races to fear them on looks alone.. idk. I'll see if I can come up with something better

I tried to give Moran a sort of ruffled look.

I really like her, she makes me think of Ratchet from Transformers- in other words, shes "head of the infirmary and also sick of your shit" 😆

Im currently doing [like, my 5th] reread of CoE and I'm on Cast in Honor again - i just happened to find these old doodles from the last time i read it -- total coincidence, but I'm glad to be able to post it. Elantra needs more fanart, dammit.

Also does anyone know how i can maybe get approved to be able to edit or at least contribute to the fan wiki?? Coz as of this past week I've already tried to look up several things that aren't even listed and it's annoying me lmao

Hey how about some CoE sketches

I dont think ive shown anyone my interpretation of Bellusdeo and Megarron [apologies if names are misspelled, i only have the audiobooks lol]

Also have some Tiamaris and Tara. I reaalllyyy wanna do more finished pieces of these characters

I headcanon that the Norineer people have naturally white-colored hair, with streaks of "natural" hair colors. Like, imagine if Aloy from Horizon Zero-Dawn had white chunky streaks. I imagine they have a similar aesthetic to Aloy as well just without any technology.

I also headcanon that the Dragons in Elantra all have some amount of "scale freckles" aka you can see small scales in areas you would normally find moles or freckles on humans. It's implied that dragons can control how they look to some extent [like how they're immortal but the Arkon specifically Looks like an Old Man] so I imagine its possible for dragons to completely hide all traces of their scales when they're in human form - but when under strain or distress/when losing concentration, the scale freckles become more easily visible/plentiful.

I tried to check the fandom wiki to see if im spelling names right but the wiki itself is so out-of-date it doesn't even mention Bellusdeos Ascendant!! Idk if his name is Megarron, Magaron, M'garron, or some other spelling. Ms Hvam pronounces it in a way that makes me assume its pronoumced like "meg-auron" in the audiobook so imma go with spelling it like "Megarron."

Recently, @snapscube picked up her DQ8 playthru from last year-- which I have never played nor seen- so then of course I binged the whole damn thing in like a week LMAO

I ADORE Gnocchis silly dumb voice

And I always laugh whenever she says that "fool me once " bit--- altho idk if she's ever actually SAID that in dq8 I might be conflating my memory with another playthru of hers but... it felt like it would really fit that character lmao
