JJP are the first AND LAST ONES to ever win the JYP audition as a duo. It was always a solo for the 1st place.
Jinyoung and Jaebum were fighting so much as trainees that no one could stop them. They were so heated that thhey got scolded all the time and hated each other at some point.
Jaebum had serious anexiety and anger issues that got him into a lot of trouble, but somehow he managed them through the years.
JY was the one who was there when JB’s parents divorced and probably knew about his father’s alcohol issues. This is how they became closer - by comfort.
JB was probably there when Jinyoung made a confession (we do not know what kind of or for whom) & comforted him - he knew about Jinyoung’s habit of eating cotton candy after a confession.
They know each other so well bevause they grew together through all the issues and they only had each other…and the same dream. They do not only know each other’s weaknesses and glitches, they lived next to it and experienced it as two.
