TAYLOR WHY DO U LIKE TO SEE YOUR FANS SUFFER
Soo..
I feel like a missed a scene from Black lightning? Did Anissa ever on camera tell Grace she was also a Meta or did this happen off screen- revealed during tonight's episode? I don't remember.
are you freaking out cause i’m freaking out
@ everyone who thinks 'Jade Turtle' was was purposely stolen
OSPINS KIDS ARE NOT THE FIRST MAIDENS
I know it seems that way since after the new episode but here me out
What we do know from the World of Remnant episode is that the Maidens were Gifted powers and NOT born with them. Ospins time with Salem, he is shown to have powerful Magic but In season Five episode 12 he CONFIRMED he created the first maidens and sacrificed the majority of his magic to do so.
I think these four sisters could reminded him of his children he lost and the reason for granted them their power.
If Ospins daughters DID survive that battle i think it will closely relate to Silver Eyed warriors. They could be their descendant and therefore be born from some of the same material as Grim and the reason why Grim are almost powerless against them. This theory also seems plausibly since Silver Eyed powers are seem hereditary.
TLDR: Ruby is part grim
MY SHE-RA SECRET REVEALED! She-Ra Princesses of Power Unboxing & Reaction
As a long time swifty I know how brave Taylor Swift is and how hard it must be to voice her own opinions when it could alienate some people. I stan Taylor Swift a women who I admired and grew up with for almost ten years now. The lyrics she writes and the stories she tells, show her what values are important to her and to real fans it wasn't a surprise. As much as I want to respond to every single hate post I see on Twitter... I take a step back and realize the my desire of wanting to protect/defend Taylor is just being apart of the swift life.
THE THOUGHT OF TIKKI AND PLAGG HAVING PREVIOUS HORRIBLE OWNERS LIKE HAWKMOTH BREAKS MY HEART
So I went to Burger King today to get miraculous ladybug and the power rangers figures too and when they asked if I wanted a boy toy or a girl toy I was just stunned... they still do this??? I remember being a kid and never getting the toy I wanted because my parents would always say it's for a girl when the 'boy' toys were more towards my taste.
JUST BOUGHT TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS FOR NEXT WEEK!
SEE YOU GUYS IN TORONTO

are we not going to talk about those instances over the past two episodes in which Kara has expressed an almost villain like superiority complex over humans?
For example when Winn confronted her about her having panic attacks she said something to the effect of “those are silly human issues and i’m better than that” to which she did the same thing in the premiere when trying to distant herself from her feelings.
it makes you wonder how much of kara’s superheroing is out of selflessness or out of ego
I mean, it’s really a coping mechanism and not a reflection of her actual worldview.
She said in the past episode about being Supergirl—“I can I feel strong, even though a huge part of me feels so weak.”
The comments about being broken being a human thing (even though Kryptonians obviously had the same range of emotion that humans do) is actually her rejecting a part of herself, not humanity.
This isn’t a character trait previously seen, but something she’s recently using to try to protect herself.
Kara does have a degree of ego—a healthy level of moral superiority, an ‘I can handle anything’ attitude, and some Kryptonian pride—but it has never before presented itself as judgement of humans. She has only ever been shown to love humanity. To love emotion.
In fact “Stronger together” is a Kryptonian motto,
“Back on Krypton, no one was their own man. Growing up, I was taught that to accept help from people is not a shame, it’s an honor.”
But she’s rejecting that too, saying she’s above help despite Krypton’s culture emphasizing that help is a good thing, even more so than for humanity.
But that means opening herself up to people and thus opening herself up to more pain, and since Kara Danvers represents her want for a happy life, a “normal life,” (and thus, on Earth, a ‘human’ life) she’s conflating that human identity with humanity in general.
It’s not really alien vs human, it’s ‘the girl who is destined to save the world and lose everyone’ vs ‘the girl who wants a normal life and loves her earth family’.
And focusing on ‘the girl who is destined to save the world’ aspect of her current worldview is a lot easier than ‘the girl who is destined to lose everyone,’ and what results is a certain degree of superiority that is more a show than how she really feels.
It’s sort of like seeing Kara on Red K (which was a depression allegory to compare to this straightforward depression storyline) and saying “wait she is Supergirl because she thinks National City should bow to her?”
There is a piece of her that probably likes the power, but it’s likely at the same level as anyone else would, and something she would try not to dwell on under normal circumstances.
To compare, as an audience, when Mon-El says to Kara,
“You fly around, rescuing people, like you’re just pure of heart. But that is crap. Because you love that attention. You love people loving you. You are not selfless.”
we’re meant to go, “He doesn’t get it. Sure the attention is nice and all, but that’s not the point.”
Kara would still try to help people without any attention, would still try to help people if she utterly hated herself, because ego is not the actual reason she does it.
And if there’s an element to her superheroing that isn’t just a straightforward want to help, it’s that she feels as if she has to be this person because she thinks her mother sent her to earth to do so. She feels responsible. This has been something demonstrated consistently throughout the seasons.
And there’s pride in accomplished responsibility, but the feeling of responsibility is in and of itself the more prevalent motivator.
But really? Knowing Kara—knowing that even as a child, before Krypton’s destruction, her mother always said she had the heart of a hero—she would still be trying to help people without these other motivators.
So I don’t think that the fact that she has normal occasional selfish feelings makes her superheroing ego-based.
