“What to do when you have too much to do” With Studyblrheaven
1. Write it down I have a whiteboard where I write everything down. Not only what events are coming up, but also my todo for the day. You can also use a planner or whatever you want to use.
2. Clean up A clean room is a clean mind! The best thing to do at the end of the day is clean up your room. Not only do you sleep better in a cleaned up room, the process itself always helps me to clean up my mind too!
3. Tea Tea. Tea is always the answer.
4. Here and now If there is one question that has opened my eyes on the subject of overthinking, it has to be “what can you do about it NOW” it means that it is no use to keep thinking and worrying about something you can’t do anything about at that moment anyway.
5. Meditation and sleep The most important thing in stressful times is to stay calm. Meditation really helped me. I would really to recommend the app “Stop, Breath & Think”. (My friend @zolderraam brought it to my attention) It’s a meditation app which is perfect for people like me who aren’t very experienced with meditation yet. It also looks really pretty. It is free and you get a list of 16 tracks. You can also buy other tracks to support the makers! You can also fill in how you feel and it will recommend certain tracks! When I can’t sleep I always listen to this YouTube video, it always works for me.
I hope these 5 tips were useful to you and good luck getting done what you need to get done!
Share it like you care it !!
With 3 simple steps:
1. POWER OFF Turn off your electronics - or at least, ignore them! Yes, the oh mighty difficult task we all face in this modern era. If you have alarms set, then you’ll obviously need to leave your device on, but make sure you don’t use them for at least 30 minutes before bed!
2. DECLUTTER Take at least 5 minutes to declutter and organize your room before you go to bed. If we’re being realistic, it’s more than likely to bore you… But on the plus side, at least your room will be cleaner! If that doesn’t suit, rearrange things. This could be your notes, your room, clothes, whatever!
3. BUILD HABITS Try take some time to relax and unwind. Go take off your makeup, have a shower, make a warm beverage, read a book, write a to do list, journal about your day. Just do something that doesn’t involve screens, will help you distress and worry less about the day to come.
Helpful tips:
If you can, try exercise at least 30 minutes per day. This will help fatigue your body and make it easier to fall asleep. Of course, this may not suit everyone, it is just a suggestion.
Soothing aromas + sounds — definitely a key way to calm your inner self. You could also try slowing down your breathing which will decrease your heart rate, therefore making you more relaxed.
Make sure your rooms is dark and at a good temperature! You don’t want unexpected light coming in and waking you up - unless you want to get woken up by the sun. A good temp also allows you to sleep throughout the night without being woken up by the heat or cold.
Try not to think about things right before you go to sleep. Especially things you need to do tomorrow, mistakes you’ve made, assignments due etc. If you’re going to think about anything, think about happy thoughts, memories, upcoming events. You don’t need to go to bed with negativity.
If you ever have trouble sleeping at night, here’s a few tips to help:
🌸 brew a cup of chamomile tea
🌸 relax your muscles in a lavender Epson salt bath & light some incense
🌸 play a soundscape (click for rain on leaves) & darken the room
🌸 apply a calming lotion to your skin while giving yourself a gentle massage
🌸 If all else fails, try taking melatonin supplements. They’re easily found in the vitamin aisle of most grocery stores. I highly recommend only starting out with 3mg first!
It always guarantees me a good night’s sleep when I do all these things so I thought I’d share in case anyone could use the tips. Sleep tight, everyone!
Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself!

YOU ARE WANTED. YOU ARE LOVED. YOU ARE NEEDED. ♡ ♡ ♡
You are SO much more than your disorder.
Take a life experience and make it a love experience. Instead of focusing on all the things you don’t have, focus on loving the things you do have. Instead of harping on about all that’s wrong, bring your mind into focus on the solutions. When it’s raining it can be hard to remember the sun, but it will eventually come out again. _ And remember, we are all broken. Especially the ones that think they’re not. They’re the most broken they just don’t know it yet. Unless you have Divine love in your heart you simply cannot be whole. You can’t fix yourself, but you can learn to love yourself. You can’t fight darkness head on, but you can love it and turn your attention to the light. And yes, there is light within every situation. Negative thoughts are like internet trolls if you engage with them it’s a hook and will drag you down. No matter how hard it seems you have to be strong enough to focus on the love. Being loving is the key. Love yourself. Forgive yourself. See the good in yourself. Love your world. Forgive your world. See solutions, orient towards hope and raise your vibration. _
All is blessed. _ Love. Just love. _ 💗 #practiceyogachangeyourworld #onebreathatatime - Photo by @ifilmyoga Next workshop: Washington DC 🙏
