Blue’s Feathers and Wings Compendium: Atypical Wing Shapes

Part 1 [Standard ]| Part 2 [Atypical] | Feather Markings | Tail Feathers

These wings are a small array of Atypical wing shapes, complete with flippered wings, flightless wings, and fancy plumes. Again, creating my own names for some of these wing types since there isn’t any official naming of the different shapes, and I want to make it easily understandable for others rather than complicating these things with academic names.

Happy pride month!!!

I wanted to paint something that makes me happy for pride, and tiny watercolor octopods do the trick :D

I stuck with the 4 basic groups of LGBT (+ ace, bc I’m ace :>), but I would love to paint more! So if you’d like to see a specific flag painted in octopus, leave me an ask or reblog it with your request and I’ll add on to this post!

So I realized too late that I accidentally set the dates for Jearmin week to be 9 days long. Last year we had 7 days of prompts that you guys voted on and then the 8th day was Free Day/Old Works. Katie and I intended to do the same for this year but I kinda messed that up. So instead of taking out a day, we decided to add a “mods choice day” where Katie and I each rescued a prompt that didn’t make the cut. We hope no one minds the extra day of Jearmin! -Tea💕

Stave plays too, and they are ruthless when playing against each other. But whenever their houses don’t compete, they make sure to cheer for the boyfriend!

Sure, @anatomicalart! The colors get reused between the arm/back angles so I’ll separate them.

Arm view: Red = Deltoids (all three heads are in one color) Blue = Latissimus Dorsi Green = Biceps Brachii Yellow = Triceps Brachii

Forearm: Red = One of the wrist flexors Blue = Brachioradialis

Back view, left side: Red = Deltoids (all three heads are in one color) Blue = Latissimus Dorsi Green = Infraspinatus, Teres Minor, Teres Major Yellow = Trapezius (all groups one color)

Back view, right side: Red = Supraspinatus Blue = Serratus Anterior  Green = Rhomboids Yellow = Levator Scapulae
