So if you follow me on twitter you might know I was asked to distance myself from my family after I came out as trans, and I’ve been going through a hectic move as a result. It’s been exhausting and bloody sad, but I thought I’d illustrate one of my favorite poems that always helps me through the hard times.

It’s been so long since my last milestone giveaway! did someone at blizzard really think through having overwatch (the “good” and “righteous”) organization be comprised of mostly white people (jack, rein, tracer, angela, torb. and ana, the token brown woman) while having the blackwatch (the “questionable” arguably more dangerous “we’ll go through any lengths to win”) organization and talon (the “evil” corporation) members being of different ethnic backgrounds and skin color (reyes, genji, mccree who is from ambiguous background for blackwatch and reaper, sombra and white woman widow for talon) and the message it may or may not send

WildStorm had a comic series called Stormwatch about an international team of superheroes with three different units: StormWatch Prime, the unit suited to deal with superhuman threats in hotwar situations; StormWatch Black, the covert insertion unit; and StormWatch Red, a unit comprised of those members with greatest destructive capabilities for acts of deterrent displays and retaliation.[http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Stormwatch_Black]

Blackwatch seems to match StormWatch Black, and the abilities and backgrounds of Reyes, Genji and McCree are good for the role. Tracer’s mobility could also be a good fit ability-wise but might not be personality-wise. Putting Reinhardt, Angela or Torbjorn on a covert team would be a questionable choice.

It explains it. I guess you could say I'm just not as content as I thought it would be due to open interpretations. Do you have any recommendations on the fanfics?

Since you are a fellow Shakarian shipper I have a few to suggest. The first two aren’t post-reaper but are by far my favorite Shakarian fics: 

@theherocomplex ‘s “Ghost” is amazing. It’s post ME1 but her writing is beautiful and it’s such a creative take on the gap between the time the SR1 is destroyed and the two years Shepard spends at the mercy of the Lazarus Project. (NOTE: It is rated M)

@thunderheadfred ‘s “Red Streak” is another ME1 fic that takes a different turn of events which is also cleverly written. She’s got a lot of one-liners that make me laugh a LOT louder than anticipated. (rated E, so check the warnings and see if you’re comfortable with them.) 

And then you stay  is a nice one chapter mini-fic about post-reaper centered on Garrus. 

All In The Mind is a good one too- it’s Liara x female shepard post-reaper fic and I have to admit I’m not overly fond of the pairing but maybe you’ll like it?

And lastly this Post-Reaper Comic here by:hchomgoblinthat delivers all the feels.

That screencap redraw took a lot out of me both physically and emotionally. 

Both Ghibli films and Overwatch mean a lot to me and it was weird and outlandish to bring them together and yet here we are.

I tried my best to imitate Ghibli’s signature style, it was very soothing and calming to work with (Nothing’s traced, it’s just heavily referenced).

Here’s a link the the Howl’s Moving Castle theme I listened while working on the piece.

I’ve been trying my best to keep up with pharmercy appreciation week but it is taking a lot out of me to try and produce a fully finished drawing a day.

I know could easily do a sketch or two per day but i end up polishing it into a finished piece (i can’t help myself -sobs-). Might try do a few doodles tomorrow to quickly catch up on the days I missed tho!

Even though the week is over i’ll keep drawing pharmercy and appreciating it nonetheless, it means a lot to me so expect somewhat consistent doodles n stuff of these gay dorks.
