I don't remember if I made a post about this before but I had scanned the entirety of The Art of Dreamworks Trolls World Tour and put it on my archive.org collection last year. The Trolls franchise has kind of blown up since then so I want to alert new fans since this particular book is quite a hard find

Do you guys ever think about what Queen Essence and King Quincy named Cooper? Obviously he was an egg when he was taken so 'Cooper' was picked out by his Pop family.

For twenty years what did they call their missing son? 'Our son'? Did they ever name him? Was the name they picked never said, just a secret between the two of them because after so long they knew that wherever he was, he had a name? Do you think on less painful days they made a game of guessing what his name might be. Do you think they made bets? Each took half the alphabet for whatever it would start with.

Quincy telling Essence before bed, "You know, I'm feeling Jackson. I was looking at Darnell today and I thought 'Could've named him Jackson'."

Essence laughs, rolls her eyes and says, "Mother's intuition says it's 'Anthony'."

Do you think Darnell begged his parents to give him a name, any name to call his brother? Just so he could feel real, instead of some vague concept?

I actually had a similar thought to this a while ago, because they definitely gave a name to him, Right?! (probably a couple of names when they were still in eggs for different genders) I like to think it’s something that matches Darnell….. but I have no idea what that name would look like.

Maybe if they did match names it would be like R&B, a name that would basically be related to funk music in some way. They definitely had to have given him a name at some point over the years because it would be kind of weird if they just referred to Cooper as “the missing egg” or “lost heir”. The idea that Prince D asked his parents what his lost brothers name was, is honestly so adorable and sad. I really do wish that in TrollsTopia they discussed more on Cooper and his family (they really glossed over it a lot)

On the day I WAS going to post the third chapter I had to get some stitching taken out (sadly It didn’t go the greatest) I was planning to post it after, but I wasn’t able to so I had to take a forced hiatus.

But everything should hopefully be good now. 😊
