Gonna get real for a second, if I may.

Just finished watching Infinity Train. Still over the moon about that whole thing and so stoked for the next chapter. But you know what's sad? As a Steven Universe fan, I know it'll be forever and a day until that happens and Cartoon Network probably won't even promote it properly.

Adventure Time is gone. Regular Show is gone. Steven Universe can only go so far with what little time slot their getting and barely any reruns. Now Infinity Train has ended, it's highly possible that we won't see those ten episodes air again unless there's like some sort of big event but it will most definitely be followed by a marathon of goddamn TTG. Victor and Valentino, I haven't watched much of it but I like the premise, only gets so much time, I think I've only seen Apple and Onion air a few times and every single time I check the channel it's either: Teen Titans Go, The Amazing World of Gumball or freaking Total Dramarama.

Seriously, what happened to the network that had the most diverse group of kids shows ever? Even Boomerang is shit at this point because they don't really air the classics like the used to! Stuff from back in the day like I Am Weasel, Puffy Ami Yumi, My Gym Partner is A Monkey, OG Teen Titans, Codename Kids Next Door, Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Dexter's Laboratory, Tom and Jerry, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Ed Edd N Eddy, Scooby Doo, Camp Lazlo, OG PPG, and new titles like Steven Universe, Over the Garden Wall, Regular Show, Adventure Time, Clarence, as weird as it is, We Bare Bears, OK KO (WHICH YOU B*STARDS CANCELED), Infinity Train can be added now and whatever else is going to be coming within the next few years.

I get it, y'all are trying to cater to kids since it is a kids network but come on. It's gonna get to the point where even kids aren't gonna watch the same thing if you constantly shove it in their face. Like bring back the cartoon bumpers, the funny movie marathon weekends, the Christmas specials that aren't just TTG related. Bring back the Cartoon Network city for more than just being in a crossover. BRING BACK THE GOOD CARTOON NETWORK BECAUSE RIGHT NOW, THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT IT.

I agree completely. I’m still pissed about OK KO, even though I don’t have cable rn, because why would they cancel something with an ACTUAL STORY, when there are plenty of other shows more deserving of cancellation?

Boruto Jigen Arc Theory

So, upon reading chapter 35, I began to notice something. It clearly says that the story is heading into a “new stage,” which means a development is bound to happen, and we see that Kawaki is growing comfortable with life in Konoha, also growing close with Boruto enough to accept his “brother” comment.

Okay. So, if Boruto were to GET INJURED, it would probably set Kawaki off, right? Especially if it was by... Oh... I don’t know... JIGEN, WHERE BORUTO IS (apparently) HEADING TOWARDS?

What if he ends up encountering Jigen, and he and Mitsuki get their asses handed to them (resulting in his Jougan Awakening, Jigen freaking out and slicing his eye to get rid of it, resulting in the scar), only to be saved by Sasuke. When he gets back to the village, and reveals what happened, Kawaki has a mental breakdown, crushing his delicate psyche by feeling responsible, leading to him either returning to Kara, or striking out on his own (not unlike Sasuke, but also not resulting in him going to the villains—just becoming a wandering ninja).

Ah, I know it ain’t the best, but this is what crossed my mind while reading it. Thoughts?

Also, Ikemoto’s art is getting A LOT better. Js.
