Quick thought on the ending: honestly, ship aside (even though we all know Byler isn’t just a ship, it’s part of the story… or at least it was), I think it’s going to be disappointing even for the general audience. There was so much hype for the finale, so many theories about time travel, memory trips, the temporal loop…even deleted scene speculations! And honestly? The final climax felt super flat. The theories we all came up with were way more interesting!
So…The Duffers’ writing really is ass, uh?
I just wanted the answer about the door in the Byers shed unlocking itself and not even that , yikes

on the bright side, the postcanon fics that come out of this will be better than anything the duffers could have done
byler aside, will and robin’s friendship and solidarity was so beautiful and so important and to see queer characters bond over their queerness and to have that queerness save the day in a major franchise is already so huge

Missed seeing Orlando Bloom in movies.
Weirdly enough this film feels like the good 2010 comedic movies the used to make , the ones that you went to the cinema to see expecting nothing much and went out talking about all the good scenes and plot points
