It's been the hardest summer. I had the most important exam of my life in September. If I passed it, I'd get my dream job at the public service. I did the exam and I thought I did it pretty well, I was really happy about it.

Yesterday I received the news that I failed it. I honestly don't understand how, because I was happy about it and couldn't believe what I was hearing. I've been dedicating the last two years in preparing myself for that exam and I failed it.

I'm so lost right now I don't know what to do

It's been a hard week but today was the cherry on the cake. Deprived from sleep you wake up and walk out towards the deck.

Leaning against the railing you hear heavy footsteps behind you

- couldn't sleep?. It's him. Of course it is. During the last year on the G-5, Smoker has become your friend? you don't even know. But he's always there when you seek comfort.

- nightmares again

He leans closer, your arms touching.

- wanna talk about it?. He asks without looking at you.

- not really.

He nods and kisses the top of your head. Even if you're now used to that kind of dynamic you blush. He notices it and chuckles softly.

Now you're ok. And you know everything will be ok because he will always be there when you need him, as you will be for him.

had this on my drafts. First time writing something. The end doesn't convince me at all but I couldn't find another ending without making it too long.
