Day 17: Breakfast

During the earlier years of her marriage to Enji, before children came into the picture (and multiple children at that), Rei always tried to make a point to be up and joining Enji for breakfast no matter what time of morning he may have had to get up and go to patrols or missions. Because his schedule varied so frequently and he could be coming home anywhere from the early evening to middle of the night, the start of his day was at least one constant that Rei could do her best to be a part of to spend time with him as his wife.

Day 12: School

Rei only completed high school for her highest level of education. Her marriage proposal from Enji came less than a year after her high school graduation, and Rei had been undecided anyway on whether or not she wanted to pursue college, so going into the marriage offered to her and opting to start a family that she’d already known she eventually wanted made any desire Rei may have had to attend college be shelved. To this day she’s perfectly fine with the fact that she completed high school and nothing more.

Day 18: Nightmares

Nightmares were one of Rei’s worst things to overcome during all her years at the mental hospital following her checking in to it. Whether it was any of the instances of seeing Touya hurt himself from his Quirk to spite Enji, or Touya be hurt during training sessions with Enji, Touya trying to attack baby Shoto, or the instant where she burned and scarred Shoto, you name them she’s had nightmares reliving those moments hundreds of times. Falling asleep has never been an issue for Rei at any point in her recovery process, it was what she might see during her sleep and how it made her feel upon waking up that was one of the hardest things for her to overcome. 

Time, along with mourning what she thought was Touya’s death, helped allow her to very slowly move away from those being a regular occurrence now that Rei is mentally stable. Even now, she seldom has nightmares anymore.

Day 16: Bed

Rei preferred a softer bed for each of her pregnancies so to try and alleviate any body aches or discomfort she’d had during the day from the pregnancy. She also had the pregnancy cuddle pillow for nights when she knew Enji wouldn’t be home either all night or until very late into the night.
