What helped me write trauma better is remembering that the nervous system learns predictions. If danger used to come after quiet, calm can feel threatening. If kindness used to come with a price, kindness can feel suspicious. So healing is not just “they know they’re safe now.” Healing is the slow, annoying, deeply unfair process of teaching the body that the old prediction is not always the present truth.

what brush do you use... it looks SO good

ahh, you're gonna have to be more specific, i've been trying different brushes depending on my mood...

the only one that's kind of stuck is this one, although i've fiddled with the settings a little bit to fit my liking. it's the most frequent one, i use it for sketching/when i don't feel like making lineart.

note that i dont think simon calls grace “angel” as a petname like . ever. Its not a casual term it holds too much “yikes!!” energy that both of them get wary of , but there are very few and very specific exceptions

anyways that guy can NOT take praise as is. you gotta distract him a little with smth to make him accept any of it
