So anyway my prediction is that Alice and Gemma are exes and Alice had a career ending injury early on that forced her to pivot to coaching, but she still attempted to live out her original football dreams by proxy of Gemma. Then she got bitter and mad when Gemma willingly chose to leave the sport, because it was like being forced to leave her own dream behind again. They cut each other off after that entirely and haven’t spoken in several years.

Gemma’s position as striker will be a last missing piece when the coaches are trying to flesh out the team in an episode or two, and Alice will have to put herself out there to reach out to Gemma and convince her to return and play. 😌

There should be a whole episode from Jonathan the Rat's pov like he gets loose from his locker room home and runs amok through the Richmond facilities and keeps overhearing important bits of the drama-of-the-day from everyone in the building and winds up being the only one to know the whole story just completely low stakes and bonus points if we find out at the end of the episode that Jonathan doesn't actually live in the locker room he just comes to work with Roy so he doesn't get out of practice and actually lives in a massive rat palace at Roy's house

Two episodes in and I am already irritated by the Roy/Keeley storyline. Why can’t we just have them as friends? Why can’t we have representation that sometimes, as much as two people love each other, they’re just not a good match? WHY CAN’T KEELEY GET HERSELF AN AMAZING FOOTBALLER GIRLFRIEND?

I am so fucking excited to slowly learn more about the girls bc one of the best things about the first three seasons of ted lasso for me was learning about the ensemble cast and holding onto little details and throwaway lines that really made the team feel like a team

it’s been a while since I’ve rewatched the show so I’d have to go back, but stuff like bumbercatch knitting as a hobby, colin not being able to drive his lamborghini, I think it was cockburn but he and jamie always shared axe/lynx body spray or whatever it was in their lockers - stuff like that
