Edit 2: OK, so a lot of people are doubting this, but I’m not going to just skip out on this. I know it’s a lot of people, but the whole reason I’m doing this is because it sounds like fun, and it will be good drawing practice. I’m not starting it immediately, and it might take a while to get them all out, but I AM going to be getting all of these done! I’m going to keep my promise, and this is a legitimate thing.

Reunited

Thorin Oakenshield Fanfic

Fili squealed as Arya whisked him into her arms and spun him around the garden.

“Higher! Higher!” he screeched in joy, stretching his hands out as far as possible; imagining he was flying through the air as Thorins ward twirled him round and round.

“Arya!” She heard the other young Durin prince call her name “I want a go. Please?” he begged, drawing out the vowels as most toddlers do. She put down Fili and turned to his now approaching brother, Kili, smiling warmly. Dis followed after her youngest son outside telling both children: “Take it easy, the two of you, poor Arya’s exhausted- look at her! All out of breath, without a puff; from lugging you both about the garden, honestly I thought I’d raised you better. Go give her some rest now and run around.” Thorins’ sister was rubbing her head, as if from a migraine.

“Are you alright, my lady?” Arya inquired, hovering around her lest she stumbled and fell. “Yes. I-I think, I may just need to…” With that her head lolled forwards and her knees gave out, and I caught her as she fell. Things had taken a turn for the worse, very quickly.

As best she could, Arya, half drag-carried Dis back into their house in the Blue Mountains, and laid her on a lounge chair. The kings’ ward then headed to the door, to see if she could spot the dwarfish children running amok in the spacious garden but she found no sign of them; which was just as well, as it would have frightened and worried them and Arya would have no space to revive Dis from her semi-consciousness.

Arya frantically ran to and fro in the house, preparing a damp cloth to place on the princess’ forehead and gathering the smelling salts to help waken Dis from her slumber. She knelt by the dwarfs’ side, and swept the locks of hair off of her face, and replaced them with the damp cloth to the forehead of the sleeping beauty. A sigh escaped her lips, but any further noise was drowned out by the stomping of boots, followed by the sound of children’s laughter.

 The king had returned.

What If?

What if instead of a shoe,

Cinderella lost her virginity and so she ran away,

Changed her name to Wendy,

And running into the lost boys

Begged for their help.

What if instead of a witch,

Hansel and Gretel met a wolf in sheep’s clothing,

A trafficker, who pumped them full of drugs,

And sold them on to the highest bidder.

What if Snow White was a prostitute,

So hooked on drugs to cope,

Her skin was a ghostly pale, and lips a blood red?

What if their prince charmings, or heroes

Never came?

What if?

Because, although witches, warlocks and monsters don’t exist

There are still those that blur the lines,

Between demons, and people.

Okay, so this was a bit of a vent-poem... I got the idea from a thought that came to my head, and just brainstormed it and worked at it, it’s short I know but, my art exam’s tomorrow and I’m stressed to the hills so sorry about that, I will upload something on Monday if I can
