I was lucky enough to meet Ali Hillis (the voice of Liara T'Soni in Mass Effect) at a convention recently. This was actually my second time meeting her and she was just as incredibly nice this time as she was the last time! If she ever goes to a convention near you, I highly recommend saying hi to her! She's an absolute sweetheart! A while before the convention, the official BioWare gear store announced a bunch of new Liara merch. One of the new pieces of merch was a "Liara companion bundle" that included a never before seen love letter from Liara to Shepard. I was so happy that we were getting new Liara merch that also gave us new lore! When I went to the convention, I showed a picture of the companion bundle to Ali and asked her if she could make a voice recording of her reading it as Liara. She thought the letter was beautiful and said yes! This is the recording and Ali knocked it out of the park! Huge thanks to Ali for being so kind and awesome!

How long will my children have to live in fear?

Today, two rockets struck a house near our tent. My children were terrified, trembling and crying uncontrollably. They are living surrounded by danger, explosions, rats, insects, and constant fear. Instead of enjoying a peaceful childhood, they are growing up burdened by fear and trauma.

As a mother, it breaks my heart to see them suffer while I am unable to provide the safety they deserve.

Our beloved cat Gary has had an accident and now we need to pay the hefty price for a caudectomy. A caudectomy is a surgical procedure that removes all or part of an animals tail. Gary's tail had gotten stuck in between the hinges of one of our doors and we didn't notice. Upon closing the door it startled Gary and he tried running, degloving a huge portion of his tail. My mother and step-father had brought him to the vet as soon as possible with hopes that we could afford whatever procedure was necessary. Unfortunately the procedure is far too expensive, we are already struggling to live with how bad grocery and rent prices are. My mother has already paid at least over 400$ for the visit alone and will have to pay again tomorrow, June 26th. The surgical procedure will cost around $2,233.57. I have put the goal as 3000$ to cover any extra costs after possible surgery and to repay what we already had to spend. If we cannot reach our goal the vet will put him down. I really don't want to lose a cat again and I don't want our other cat Shadow to lose his brother. Gary is only 2 years old :(
