After several months of work, I finished this embroidery project yesterday. It's my second ever attempt at embroidery and I'm really, really happy with the result.

Also, a few weeks ago, my partner and I did a little photoshoot at a nearby park with the previous iteration (which is identical except for the golden circle).

Futurama, Star Trek (Next Gen), Doctor Who and finally my favorite film Treasure Planet- all examples of one incredibly consistent example of a cultural media symbol- movies, tv shows, books, all tapping in to the possibility of giant whales swimming through the furthest reaches of the universe as if stars and galaxies were subject to the same currents as earth oceans- like the ancient creatures had at one point discovered our planet and found it a habitable place, left perhaps their youngest or smallest in our midst to be kept safe, just as rare and beautiful as their larger counterparts.

God I hope they’re out there.

I wasn't too happy with my last whale painting so I painted a new one in SAI instead of Procreate. (SAI will always be my fav art program) I want to show the stars glowing in the stomach more clearly🌟 SAI doesn't have a timelapse feature so I did a work around but the resolution is kinda low. Does anyone know a better way? The high res hours long recordings will be DMed on my Patreon on Nov5
