The Abstration
She's not gonna stop being human just by ignoring his own humanity… is she?
It's funny, isn't it? When we're suffering mentally, it just turns into physical pain. It's not like your body and mind can exist separately from each other.
Haven't posted anything on here for a few months. Whatever. Everyone needs a bit of time to themselves, right?
Anyway, this traditional drawing (brush painting, by the way) was done by me after watching that unbelievable episode 7 of the series. Bit surprising, yeah? I'm a sucker for good psychological horror fiction that actually makes you think about the meaning of existence itself. 😅
Okay. So it's just a drawing of that scene where Jax almost disassociates (intense psychic suffering, no?), except with them in a possible female body :3
P.S.: Suggesting this is nudity? Whatever. It's just a body.
More tradi~
idk if i'd call this finished and i don't think im super happy with how it turned out but i have spent wayyyy too long on it to not ever post it so here lol
'This is the story of a little AI who Ruined Everything' So....that trailer, huh..
i’m surprised he didn’t get hurt sooner. poor guy
rocky from @lackadaisycats
Him.
Ouuuggghhhhh what’d you do bunny boy oouugghhhh
Aw... These words... ಥ_ಥ
More scenes old redrawings.
Conflict... Conflict between beliefs one has been led to believe and the truth meaning of reality.
The true, stressful, and traumatic impact of such a sensitive situation is hard to imagine. Damn... A cycle of pain and violence...
Some pencil drawings of a "OC" I made for "serious joke" a few months ago. The name I chose for him is "Prudence" and I based him on in the official golden guard of the show. Wow... I really didn't expect this to have such emotional significance for me.
The ideas the story deals with are really appealing and deep to me. I just wish the plot had been explored better, but oh well, they told what they could, didn’t they?
More drawings from this "artistic experiment" of mine from scenes in this episode "Hollow Mind" :'[
These young one don't know how tragically shocking what they're about to discover will be, in addition to what they're already dealing with.
Conflicting experiences... Contradiction between reality and belief... Mourning between beliefs... Denial... Painful and cruel truths...
The denial of true meaning? That more grow and grow up boi...
A series of old redraws of deeply significant scenes to me from the dark and impactful Owl House episode Hollow Mind. The purpose was to highlight the seriousness and emotional intensity of those moments. The difference is that Luz and Hunter are drawn as their slightly more grown official versions - the same characters, simply at a later point in their natural form.
I was simply curious and enjoy a lot exploring and imagining possibilities. So I couldn't help but picture how this change might have felt different: how this change in their psychobiological age could influence the way they perceive and live the same event, could shift the atmosphere, the dynamics, and even the expectations of others around them - fair or not.
It’s less about making them "older" and more about exploring and understanding the continuity concept: how the same essence breathes through the "unfolding of life". Poetic...🌾
Luz's autonomy of judgment? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A little sketch I did of this hellish man. It didn’t turn out exactly how I pictured it - I tried combining his "demon" (afterlife human) form with his canonical human version, but it didn’t quite go as planned. Still, I’m happy with how it came out. It was fun to draw! 😐✨
Jazz!! Jazz!! 🎶
This man is a character who lived through the conditions of the world in the 1930s! And other moments experienced during the historical changes of the 1920s :)
Alastor’s an undeniably handsome and gentlemanly man who’s done some pretty unpleasant things, hasn’t he? Still, he’s a human character after all… 🫤
Bro... Men's fashion (among which class?) in the 1930s. Interesting! I don't know the source of the image, but it's a reference for me.
It’s fascinating how the way we dress, act, carry ourselves - even our haircut - says so much about the historical moment we’re living in, and how it shapes our experiences, our lifestyle choices, and the way we express our individuality as unique human beings…
Alastor!! The gentleman radio host!!
I don’t know, it’s just a sketch I did for fun of this eloquent man (a redraw of one of the pilot scenes). I really enjoy his design, the mysterious aura he gives off, and the way he speaks.
I enjoy Hazbin Hotel mainly for its visual style and character concepts - they really are quite unique - though the way the show handles its complex themes feels a bit surface-level and naive to me, like it never really goes as deep as it could.
Still, the visuals and the ideas behind the characters are genuinely creative :)
I can't say for sure, but he has a...different aura about him in the pilot episode.
Eh-oh! You are Elia Artemisia, right? I was waiting for the right moment and now I'm finally in the mood. I wanted to say thank you for your art, especially for the wonderful Teletubbies arts. I saw them on Pinterest in 2022, and they inspired me sooo much, shared with all my friends xd. I don't think I would have dared to create my own alternative story without them. It seems like we needed such arts in the fandom: soulful and kind, very close to the original show. I noticed that you often drew White and Po together, so here's a silly gift from me
Thank you again, and I hope you're doing well. Have a great day!
Honestly, I… I don’t even know what to say. Thanks, really. I’m genuinely glad my silly little drawings inspired someone. I dunno. I just wanted to create and share something wholesome, even if my art skills aren’t exactly that refined. But yeah… thanks, truly :’)
I made this drawing (fanart) a few months ago, and it was honestly quite an interesting artistic experience. Based on a drawing by @a-magpie-in-gravesfield , the idea for this one simply came from a question I had: "What would this scene look like from another angle or perspective?" The way it explores the complexity of the tragic story of the Wittebane brothers (from The Owl House) is honestly fascinating to me.
Besides that, the historical context in which the two brothers are portrayed really captivates me and makes me even more curious. I’ve always been fascinated by the way humanity has been throughout different historical conditions of the world - and how all that has influenced the choices and experiences each human being had in their own living existence.
Luz!! Amity!! Luz & Amity!! Young affection! Confort! ^^✨
The lines didn't turn out as fluid and expressive as I'd hoped, but I'm pleased with what I managed to achieve.
