Whoa guys. Sorry. I disappeared because we didn't have internet, then we got a new puppy and we are having work done on the house. Whoa. But I am back. Now back to our regularly scheduled yoga pics.
i did a thing :) #yoga #wheelpose #yogapractice #chakrasana
I have a serious problem.
Standing balancing poses
My body is not perfect, but I am okay with that. My breathing is not perfect, nor are my postures. But my practice, my heart, and my connection? My love of this…that is perfect and because of that I am at peace with the rest.

Very well said! Thank you for your photo submission!
I like her tattoos :3
uhhh, I like her MOVES! :D
I’m sorry, but what kind of body do you need to have to do yoga? Oh that’s right, if you have a body, you have the perfect body for yoga.
hello! i love your blog. i was wondering what you do for yoga? do you practice it on your own, take a class, or use videos?
Thank you! When I first started, I took a couple of classes. I learned about form and breathing and they gave me the foundation to work at home. I do use an app on iPad to put together sequences and look up certain poses. It's called Yoga Pro for iPad: Asanas and Exercises. These days, I strictly do it at home. :]
So my birthday is coming up and I asked for a "Women in Comic Books" theme. I spent the night picking out images that my brother is going to have framed.
I'm an adult, I swear.
Lets talk about this photo.
It’s not pretty. My arms are bent, my butt looks huge, my toes are neither pointed, flointed nor flexed. I’m probably about to fall. I don’t look thin or fit or strong, especially.
But this photo captures my first success at one legged crow.
And I think it’s all too easy to forget that yoga isn’t about looking pretty or showing off your muscles or being the best at poses. It’s about your practice. And lumps, bumps and big legs aside, I think this photo shows my yoga practice more honestly than a lot of my other photos because it shows my journey.
So next time you see a picture of someone in a yoga pose looking awesome, remember that 95% of their practice probably looks like this.
