                 GENTLE  STEPS  with  the  intention  of  putting  as  little  weight  on  her  left  leg  as  possible  ;  tense  in  every  muscle  .  the  darkness  all  but  strangles  her  out  ,  making  sure  that  there  is  nothing  left  of  her  except  the  STAND  OUT  white  ,  seijou  volleyball  jacket  .  OH  ,  how  she  should  have  walked  home  with  someone  ,  taken  the  offer  from  one  of  the  boys  in  club  .   so  ,  she  finds  herself  walking  faster  ,  faster  ,   faster  —  !!

                  but  the  cards  never  fall  in  the  child’s  favour  ; her  own  paranoia  only  her  down  fall  as  her  left  knee  gives  out  on  her  and  collapses  like  the  empire  to  the  pavement  .  a  sharp  hiss  ;  sharp  pain  shooting  up  her  knee  and  hands  that  have  been  exposed  to  the  rough  surface  .  blood  is  surely  an  aftereffect  .  a  whimper  of  pain  ,  as  she  tries  to  prop  herself  up  to  stand  up  once  more  .

he had a habit of taking the LONGER way home, if he wasn’t busy, that is. somehow being able to  walk off the exhaustion of working hard during the day made it easier for him to fall ASLEEP after.  anything was good as long as he was able to push off all those, OH, so unwelcome thoughts that’d  end up keeping him up all night.  so here he was, carrying his heavy bag filled with  whatever he’d managed to stuff inside; crumbled notes, FAILED attempts of songs and so on.  it was the noise of pain that caused him to turn around, take a look at the direction it came from. and -- oh.  standing in front of her, he bent down slightly. “crap, are you good--? that looks PAINFUL, let me help you,” he offered her a hand, hoping he’d be of some use, at least.

yolin’s mouth fell open once he heard the familiar voice. feeling a little EXPOSED being found like this, he offered his friend a smile, nodding. there was a slight FROWN on the rapper’s face. truly, he didn’t have a good explanation as to why he was feeling the way he was. maybe it was just One Of Those Nights. it probably was. 

“yep, worry not,” he grinned, although it didn’t exactly reach his eyes. “i guess it kind of became a HABIT. – coming here during the night, i mean. – what’s up with you, anyways? i wasn’t really imagining to be FOUND like this.”

fidgeting with his fingers he turned to look at the brown haired, a smile tugging the corners of his lips up. USUALLY, he didn’t enjoy being interrupted this way, he was one to get lost in his thoughts quite a lot, but right now he was glad someone spoke up before he got lost in the same old CYCLE. 

“oh – yeah. i must’ve looked GLOOMY just now, right? sorry ‘bout that,” yolin greeted her with a nod. company could be good right now, really. “would you like some?” he held up an unopened drink in his other hand. “if you’re not busy, i mean. i could use some COMPANY.” he offered her an apologetic smile as he patted the seat next to himself.

maybe it was the cold, yet so gentle BREEZE of the wind that made the situation somewhat so bittersweet, familiar even. he used to come here like this a lot after – getting frustrated after failing to write a song was nothing new, it happened and it was only NATURAL for it to happen, but this time he’d taken it way too personally. yolin felt hopeless and hopeless wasn’t a word he’d ever use to describe HIMSELF. pathetic, he thought.

however, his PITY PARTY was interrupted suddenly. surprised, he turned to look at LOTTE, his gaze softening. “hey,” he spoke. “yeah – yeah, i am. i kind of fucked up a song, it’s a bit silly, REALLY, don’t you think?”
